what if after completing the spike lee story you can start a new career skipping the story stuff?

It'd give more replay value while keeping the high school and college in, like a new game plus in other games

Yes, yes. Absolutely. Hope this is the case. I often like to start several MyCareers depending on my mood. A true PG, a scoring SG or SF, a beastly big man down low. It would certainly be nice if we could choose to skip the backstory stuff and sim until the NBA Draft.

But based on the fact that they say our choices have consequences, I'm guessing this will determine some of our attributes, badges, etc. that we start out with... or something like that. So I don't have my hopes up that we can skip the back story. I'm guessing we'll have to go through it each time we start a MyCareer.

Does anyone know if we will actually be able to play HS basketball, or will it pick up at like the end of our senior year right as we make our college choice?

It would be cool to be able to play HS ball and load in the custom logos and unis for the high school teams like they had in Heisman mode in NCAA 14.

the reason i ask is because of this paragraph from the "livin da Dream" Trailer description

"The film starts in a high school setting, with the star preparing to make his mark on the game of basketball. The gym setting will give you flashbacks to the glory days, enjoying the painted bricks being covered by District Championships. From there, you’ll make your college choice. Visual Concepts licensed 10 major colleges for the game "

Flashbacks. So will we start as a post HS graduate who is like "Yeah, I remember that district Championship game in 2013" Then you will just play that game? The the story would progress from there based on a win or loss. that would be my guess... but who knows!

It's confirmed you will play some games in high school whether that's via flashbacks or what, nobody knows.

So, I'm hispanic, If I change my player to look like me, will my family still be black? that's going to be a little weird..unless I'm adopted? Or do you think the skin tones will be changed on the family? Not that I mind, just curious.

More likely than not you'll be adopted since that's the only thing that makes sense with these characters being real actors and all. There is the possibility that the "parents" change based on changing your skin, but that would seem to be a bit out there so I'm gonna go with adopted.

Yeah it's a nickname. But are they trying to be comedians here? Anytime I think of my player... he's going to be nothing but a joke. Because t hat is literally the worst nickname that you could give any player, probably in the history of basketball. So bad that I will literally laugh out loud when I start my mycareer, anytime they say it.
