Just spitballing since I never really thought about it until people started bringing it up. Kind of have a lot of options now that I think about it. They could have your parents be in passing without lines (since they wouldn't be actual actors scanned into the game) to make up for them being changed due to your race.

 Pretty sure Monta Ellis was the last guy to be drafted straight out of high school. It's not allowed anymore, under the CBA rules.
