playing the demo and it is a step up from the previous ones there are some things that need work but i see myself buying it. i dont play sports games online buuuuut i do see myself playing ALOT of pro am i really like it

Has anyone lost the opening Tip off vs the cpu.....Just like last year I win the tip off EVERY time......I literally can just keep tapping the Y button and I win the tip off......Have yet to lose a tip off vs the cpu

Didnt buy nba live 15 because yeah.....big 2k fan...

and ill say this....

ive played maybe 13 hours of pro am on the demo and have had a blast so far.

I told 4 of my friends from a madden league im in to get the demo and to play pro am with me (and like me were all pro 2k) and we made a squad consisting of a 1,2,3,4, and 5 and just balled out together. I really enjoyed how when playing 5 cpu players, there were a variety of types of teams you played. For example dwight howard with 4 other guards. a balanced squad minus Channing frye as their 5 man. We had to constantly change how we approached them and sometimes had to play a squad 4-5 times before finally figuring out a way that was most effective.

I called in work sick this morning because i was playing it all night....()

I played maybe a total of 2 hours on my park in 2k15 and didnt like it because of cheese players.

I absolutely hate how you can buy VC points to build up your player on 2k, its so annoying and think nba live did it right this year. Im really torn on whether or not ill be buying nba live this year. Ill be buying 2k for the my league and realism. But for balling online with your friends against other live players or cpu is ADDICTING. Live has done it right this year.

As with any game. i can write the negatives about it, but ill end with saying congrats for making a better game this year.

Teamwork matters way more in this game . I like that a lot .

Rock (I think it was rock) threw together a little mini tourney last year for OS'ers....we should definitely set up a 5 on 5...would be a lot of fun.

Alright, here are some impressions from quick games..

-Liked the foot planting for the most part
-Loved the camera angles available in the instant replay (Game looks great in stills)
-The shooting fouls looked really realistic (went back in the replay and actually saw the point of contact)

-Could will myself into the paint a little too easily
-Rebounding didn't feel that great (felt like the tip off animation, ball just floats to a player)
-Way too many travels around the basket (especially from the post)
-Need more variation between players (jumpshots, speed)
(I would've loved if Westbrook had his own sprint animation)
-Help defense is really weak (almost no rotations being made for my team)

I'm set up as a 6'3" slashing PG but could fill in at SG. I'm (in real life lol) an older guy so hate the cheese and ball hogging. I enjoy a great assist just as much as hitting a 3...

First would like to commend EA on the amount of content in this demo. Best sports demo ever?

I'll just give my 2 cents on the paint. Noticed this in 15 that the take off point to start animations is just too far back leading to weirdness and lots of travels compounded that you can just hit Y to enact more animations. I wish they would get rid of the gather button and just go back to the Live 10 control scheme where you had the ability to control how you attacked the basket and use of RT to initiate euros and hop steps.

Lastly I cannot put down pro-am. Played 5vs5 and it's crazy fun but you have to play together and know your role! At times it looked like a kids soccer game lol.

Like to see some tuning in the future. Long passes should be less accurate, better contact in the paint especially with help defense, alley oops nerfed some.
