Re: NBA 2K16 Player Ratings - Top 10 Point Guards (UPDATED)

When this game drops, I'm going to take a close look at Kyrie Irving compared to Damian Lillard. Damian had equal if not better stats in every category except shooting percentages, is probably an equal defender to Kyrie, and might be a better athlete. Kyrie has the handle advantage, but that's about it.

Rubio at 77. I think he should be an 80, but I'm not going to scoff at it. I understand his shortcomings as a scorer, but he is still elite at passing, court vision, very good rebounder and team defender, good free throw shooter.

Oh well. I'll just bump him up a bit.

Yikes. Is that official? Rubio's shooting is horrid but he's a good defender in addition to his passing. I suppose that's kind of interesting that it matches the fact that offensively inept PGs really hurt you in the league.

No way is Kyrie Irving as bad on defense as Damian Lillard. He's the PG version of Harden on defense.

Ratings seem alright to me, no idea what the huge issue is here.

Curry is not a better point guard than CP3

The amount of assists you make doesnt make you a better passer smh.

Jesus are all the people on here casual fans that rely on basic raw Bix score stats? My word. You can tell sometimes that this is a video game forum and not a basketball forum. Just saying.

Still not the way it works though is it? That's not how people compare players. It's a dumb way to do it.

Now if you want to analyse their games and the metrics and compare them, I'm happy to do that. If you want to play some sort of pseudo-MYGM because you're craving 2k16 so much I'll have to pass. Sorry.

Naturally he struggled this year. But he still showed flashes of the old MVP Rose and I expect him to build on that with some consistency. By the time the playoffs came around he was showing that he's still a force in the league. I can see that rating moving up to the high 80's by the end of the season.

And are there ppl really comparing him to TONY WROTEN?? Really??? You can't be serious. I can't even take you serious as a basketball fan
It's called an opinion, and to be honest I don't care about some random nobody "taking me serious".

Go look up their stats; identical. So I can compare them all I want. All day, every day, any time, any where. So when I say they have identical stats but Wroten's taller and more athletic, I can then say I'd rather have him....and he's much younger.

There's no way Rose has the rating he has right now, there's plenty of guards (realistically) better than him. Wroten shouldn't be higher but he shouldn't be 9 points lower if they have the same stats, right? Okay.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.
