NBA 2K16 My Player Attributes!
I would like to know your opinions on this. Do you think we will be able like 2K15 to upgrade our attributes outside of doing live practice and drills or does it have to be done with live practice only. Let me know what you think on this subject. Thanks a lot!Tags: None -

2K is not going to cut off all that revenue. But there should def. be rewards for live practice attribute boosting.

Probably outside, but I think the point of inside practices are to not have to pay for attributes. I hope we can individually upgrade each stat though, hated those packages.

All I know is that anything is better than 2K15, Tons of players can shoot mid range and not 3, hate how we had to upgrade all our jump shooting just for one desired attribute.

Heck, I'd be happy if there was an attribute bucket just for free throws, much like there currently is for rebounding. I don't want my guy to be a great passer (although he will pass), nor do I want him to be a great outside shooter. He's a post player, defender and rebounder, and I'm happy with that.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 My Player Attributes!
As the off-days are supposed to be a balancing act the practices must serve some purpose and have specific rewards or people will ignore them, upgrade the old fashion way and the balancing act is made much easier.
I think practice should be a way to increase whatever cap a player has on attributes related to the drill they complete, not increase the attribute itself...although depending on position/size some attribute caps should never be lifted.
They seem to be preaching balance and "cutting out the cheese" this year and appear to have listened to the criticism (and buying attributes has been a major criticism) because of this I wouldn't be surprised if people aren't able to buy their MyPlayer this year but I also wouldn't be surprised if they still can.Comment

This attributes packages were a nightmare in 2k15, every player was the same....PG or C doesnt matter!"Talent win games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships..."

The result? Everyone's MyCareer played the same.
Now, if this goes as intended, players will be able to make different guys.
But that's a big if. Man, I hope there's not some unforeseen circumstance that breaks the mode...Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 My Player Attributes!
Live practice should be necessary to unlock attribute caps. The more you play practices, the higher the cap will be until final cap is reached. For instance, for a PG, you would start with a 70 cap for passing; and after some practices you play, your cap would go up to 80, and so on. Of course, VC would be neccesary to upgrade (getting them from those practices, but also from games), but it would be perfect if the game would "force" you to do practices to make your player better. It would essentially be a way to minimize the "bought VC cheese".
And yeah, they need to re-implement the old system, where you could upgrade your attributes INDIVIDUALLY. It was so frustrating to have to upgrade the midrange and 3pt attributes just to get a respectable FT attributes; that was especially annoying when you had a PF/C, when you didn't really need midrange/3pt shooting.Comment

Yeah. I want to be a center that's good at free throws--why do I HAVE to raise 3-point shooting with it?

I think it's been confirmed packages are back [emoji24]. There are more than just 5 but still not enough to justify having packages in the game

Packages are stupid as hell, for any reason. 2K loses money and playability in the game, then we get ****ed over.
