    Mycareer favorite position + type

Just interested in some opinions, i started in 2k10 or 2k11 as an all around (fairly athletic) 6'6 sg but for the last two games i played an pass first 6'7 pg

Would love to see some pro's and con's for all positions, and for player types as well. One can play pg position but have a very different style to another pg like athletic, pass first, scorer, defender etc etc

Thinking of going sf this year but kinda hate not being able to call plays (unless somehow sometime i would acquire the on court coach badge)

What player tyoe and position will you be in 2k16 and more importantly ... why?

My favorite my career was in 2k13 when I was a 3-point specialist at SG. Haven't been able to get sucked into a my career since then. This year I'm going to create a guy I drafted in 2k13 franchise mode and roll with him in my career. 6'8" SF who came into the Leauge as a phenomenal superstar and great scorer, then developed into one of the best defenders ever. Gonna be a great year

6'4 SG. I like being an undersized slashing type shooting guard, in the the mold of Dwayne wade

I'm going to make my 6'4 185 slasher pg and i REALLY hope i can run my drive and kick game which was ESSENTIAL in every version of this game until patch 4. I didn't play much rec before the patch as i always felt it was laggy and super unresponsive but when the cheesers over ran the park the rec was okay when i played a big and let my friends run around and shoot contested jumpers (they were all L3 so they went in s lot)

I used to be a slashing SG, then I found a love for playing a big man position like Center and PF. My favorite would have to be a post playing PF

I used to like making 6'3"-6'5" PGs but since you can't pass the ball to the roll man or cutter anymore without it being stolen I change to SG. Now I make an all around SG 6'6" 195-215 lbs like Jordan, Kobe, Vince. I used to love getting 20 FTs per game in older 2Ks by slashing but because of the stupid layup animations and the lack of foul calls I've become a more perimeter oriented player. In 2K16 I will likely make an outside scoring or balanced scoring SG unless they completely redid the layups and fouls this year.

I usually love making 6'3 point guards in the Derrick Rose mold. Athletic slasher, but last year forced me to play 6'7 pg.

This year I think since defense is better I may go 6'7 SG with a Jimmy Butler type mold. Athletic wing defender that can drive to the hole and create fouls.

I always start my first file as a PG; the last few years modeled off of Westbrook and Rose. This year I think I'll model him more off of Curry because many of the 3-pt shot concerns look like they were addressed.

Re: Mycareer favorite position + type

Last year i made a defensive 6'7 sf/pf with the bulls and I just loved it, playing with rose and gasol was so cool, I would love to do that in 2k16 again, the only problem was the lack of three point shooting, sure rose hit sometimes a three but butler was just barely above 30 percent and my player wasnt a dead eye shooter either. So most of the times we played with not one good three point shooter. This is why I want to be get a higher 3 point rating this year so I can hit some three and get a better spacing. (sorry for possible mistakes, english isnt my first language)

Love to make a skilled 6'10 PF with a decent mid range game. Weakside blocks and a great post-game are extremely satisfying for me.

6'11 PF that excels in the pick n roll game like prime Amare. Also good defensively like Ibaka. Want most of my points off of lobs , rolls , and easy 2s. Other than that I rather set screens , box out , etc...

Plan to develop a mid-close jumper and have limited post moves later

I might try a 6'8 sf with great passing skills. (Point forward) I just enjoy throwing the assists too much but like a change from pg for once.

                        Anyone ever did this?

Thinking I will go, 6'8 small forward, with a point forwards style and good on defense
