Are you guys adjusting your sliders for 2015 type nfl football & penalties

Those of you that have been watching the games, keeping up with yearly rule changes and analyzing box scores know 2015 is a new wave of nfl football with "Madden" or NCAA like stats now. And the ever increasing penalties.

This is a quote from NFL operations "The NFL is committed to protecting its players from unnecessary risk, while keeping the game fair, competitive and exciting."

As you can see from all the 3rd,4th WR stats and 2nd string TE stats and penalties.

And to add to penalties. Just off of the 2nd week alone in 15 games since Mondays game hasn't played yet. Penalties are definitely happening a lot more often. 7 out of 15 games had a total of 20 to 26 penalties total a game. And only 3 games had a total of 12-14 penalties. Just to point out last season the average per game was 12.1 penalties a game. Most or some of you know its with the emphasis added to not hitting a player in the act of catching the ball, etc and the QB in the act of throwing. They didn't really change the rules they changed a few years back but put an emphasis on it.

So far a nfl game averages 16 penalties a game and half of all the games have 20 or more penalties a game total.

Now I know its just 2 weeks into the season but you can clearly see the penalty trend and the QB completion percentage trend.

11 starting QB's are averaging 72% to 81% completion percentage and 17 QB's are averaging 65% or more completion percentage. Rather than it varying like year from 55% to high 60 something% completion percentage.

But besides the QB stats and penalty stats. Seeing Heyward Bey have good games, TE's all over the place whether there 2nd string or not. 4TH WR's who haven't done anything like T. Benjamin only helps prove it. Guys are afraid to hit. QB's aren't scared to get hit, etc, etc. Its gonna be a statistical year. Maybe the year we see a 6,000 yard passer. Which we will all see in our lifetime deinfately. Keep in mind 375 yards a game will get 6,000 yards. And if you really think about it with some guys and how they are playing like Brady, etc. That isn't unbelievable.
