    2015/2016 NBA SEASON OFFICIAL PREDICTIONS

With the NBA Season just a little over a month away I wanna know what you guys predictions for this NBA Season

MVP - Kevin Durant or Paul George

but there are a lot that will be to win it

Coach of the Year - Billy Donovan

1st year coach and with that talent on OKC I, if they can stay healthy then I think he can win it

    Rookie of the Year - D'Angelo Russell/Emannuel Mudiay/Justice Winslow

Breakout Player - Gordon Hayward/Damian Lillard (It's HIS team now)

    Teams that will surprise

Lakers - I know everybody is saying Kobe this Kobe that but if you really at there roster and the players they drafted and acquired thru FA they have TALENT and OFFENSE but the question will be can they play DEFENSE but Kobe has to stay HEALTHY

Bucks - I think they surprised us last year by how they played but with a Healthy Jabari Parker coming back mannnnn they can do damage in the East and not to mention the height of damn near every player on the team

Heat - A healthy Chris Bosh returns and provides instant offense and they have a legit point guard to run the show , Wade steal can give you 20+ points a night when healthy and WHITESIDE mannnnn if he can play how he did last year this team will give teams trouble and they have a DEEP BENCH might be one the best in the league on paper and Winslow IMO will play the role of James Harden and play sooooo good that he will basically be auditioning for a Max Contract for Miami or another team

Hornets - I think this team is finally destined to make a run at the playoffs with the additions of Kaminsky , Batum and Lin , this team has talent across the board

Suns - With the emergence of Brandon Knight last year and them adding Tyson Chandler brings them a defensive anchor and Rookie Devin Booker can really be a spark off the bench

T-Wolves - With such a young team the addition of Kevin Garnett and Tayshaun Prince and Andre Miller this year is what this team needs and Rookie Karl-Anthony Towns will have a very solid rookie year and Tyus Jones will a good year behind Rubio

Wizards - Wall and Beal will need to stay healthy for this team to make a run

Jazz - They have the talent and I think Gordon Hayward will have BREAK OUT Year

Pacers - PAUL GEORGE AND MONTA ELLIS that's all I'm going to say

Kings - DEMARCUS COUSINS, RUDY GAY, RONDO AND GEORGE KARL

Teams that took a step back

    Trailblazers
    Nets
    Knicks
    Celtics

oh man, I'm optimistic with the Lakers and all but I don't see they grabbing the last spot on the playoffs at all.

Re: 2015/2016 NBA SEASON OFFICIAL PREDICTIONS

I was thinking about making one of these threads, its about time for it anyway.

league mvp kd or lebron(i think with kd coming back and lebron having a year to get comfortable in cleveland, I think mvp goes back to 2 a man race between kd and lebron like its been the past few years barring last year)

      Roy hopefully d'angelo russell
      dpoy serge ibaka
      mip gordon heyward
      6th man andre iguodala
      West
      Spurs
      Thunder
      warriors
      Grizz
      Clippers
      Rockets
      Pels
      suns/jazz/mavs/lakers

      East
      Cavs
      Hawks
      bulls
      Heat
      raptors
      wiz
      Bucks
      Pacers

      nba finals
cavs spurs or cavs thunder (dont know who'll win not even gonna try to predict) I will say i think the bulls could pull a potential upset on cleveland, tho its not likely.
      Lakers
      Trojans
      49'ers

MVP: Durant(I can see a big arguement being the 14-15 Thunder season. How they had 45 wins and didn't make playoffs, cause Durant missed alot of time. So if they go back to around 55-60 wins,Durant will get MVP)

        Rookie: Russell

        West:
        1.Warriors
        2.Spurs
        3.Clippers
        4.Thunder
        5.Rockets
        6.Grizzlies
        7.Mavs
        8.Pelicans

        East:
        1.Cavs
        2.Bulls
        3.Raptors
        4.Wizards
        5.Hawks
        6.Bucks
        7.Celtics
        8.Heat

        Finals: Cavs-Thunder

lol, I forgot they lost Aldridge. Haven't really paid alot of attention to NBA or NHL during offseason cause for once baseball is interesting to watch for me. Forgot about so many moves that have happened.

                Sleeping on the Heat.

                Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside

Even with Wade's health questions that's a better group than Dragic had in Phoenix and it's the East.

Decent bench group of Chalmers, Winslow, Green, Amar'e, McRoberts

Not saying they will instantly mesh and finish a as a top group in the East, but on paper they are nearly as good as Cleveland and Chicago. IMO

Only thing with them is they have bigger health issues(especially individually)than those 2 teams you mentioned so in essence, it's a bigger question mark for them than any other team would.

Yeah Wade missing 20+ is a given, even if it's just resting to prevent injury. But the other guys really need to stay healthy for them to be good.

I don't know if the jazz will be considered a surprise team because I think more and more people are starting to see them as a playoff team. Gobert's stock is skyrocketing while Hayward is starting to garner more respect around the league. I think Favors will be the wildcard in really how far they go, recently he went on record to say he wants to be a all star this season. For a guy who's normally kind of quiet to say that I think says something about his confidence level. I'd love to see him demand the ball more this season.

I think someone has to take another step forward for Utah to be a legit playoff threat. Gobert is great at what he does, but a shot blocker just doesn't have the impact that it used to. He would be an extremely valuable piece if this was a few years back. I like what he brings to the table because he can defend the rim without being liable in other areas (Roy Hibbert), but someone needs to take a step forward. I'm not sure how much more Hayward can "break out" but Favors needs to take another step up, that or Burks/Hood become that consistent glue-guy. Preferably all 3 of them.

another guy on the team has to prove they can be a high teens scorer, or at least mid teens like 15-16 a night efficiently. and heyward has got to hit 20-21 a night, he was almost there last year but not quite.

speaking of which, does anyone think heyward can be a go to guy on a championship team? i feel like he could be a second option at best, im not sure i believe he will ever be number 1 option material unless he has a super stacked team behind him, with multiple guys who can be 2 to 3 options. thats not to say he isnt doing a good job a go to guy now, but im not sure if they'll ever be true favorites for a title with him as the go to guy. But who knows there a little ways off from contending so things could change.

Technically he can be. Rip Hamilton won a ring as a primary offensive target. Hayward can be that type of guy. The other 4 just has to be very solid, and their defense would need to be top tier.

The bench would need to improve some as well.

Yea i agree, and thats kinda what im saying, i dont feel he'll ever be a curry, lebron, kd type of player where he is the clear cut best guy on the team. I think he could be a number 1 guy if utah had a pistons or spurs type of team where there defense leads the league, and he has a super talented roster to back him up, with at least 3 other allstars and maybe a few other borderline allstars.
