after extensively playing the demo, I decided to wait until it goes down in price. Now don't get me wrong, I find the game fun, it's just that it's too far behind for my likes. The lack of numerous signature animations (primarily signature shots) is a huge downer for me. Also, the lack of post game is an absolute deal breaker for me. It's developed for sure, but they've still got a long ways to go in that department. Also, the commentary is a bit stale. Breen doesn't even sound like he does on TV, lol. He sounds like hes forcing himself to be excited.Comment

I already pre ordered it. its downloaded on my xbox waiting for release day. I have been having alot of fun with the pro am and i played a few quick games and did not have a problem.
Is it as technical as 2k? Hell no! lol But it is fun.
One of the other reasons i am getting it is it has game modes that 2k makes you play online, offline. 2k you have to stand around wasting time at the park waiting to get a game. EA i can just play the computer by myself or with friends.
I will be getting 2k but i am putting most of my time towards EA.Comment

I already got the game on preorder, and there's no other games this year that I'm interested in getting, so I'm just gonna keep it. Mainly for Live ProAm and for the awesome graphics & stadium environments.
However, I'm far more excited & anticipating being more satisfied with 2K16...Comment

Pro-Am mode alone is enough for me to purchase day 1. Beats the bleep out of other online 5-5 offerings in the past. If they clean up a couple of things with the patch it may actually be my go to game all winter.Comment

After seeing K-Love shoot FTs at the opposite basket and players shooting jumpshots backwards coupled with a lack of mid-range game and late-game AI breakdowns (for the 3rd consecutive year).....I've decided that NBA Live 15 BETA is not worth purchasing....unless a "miracle" Day 1 patch solves all of these issues and others. And we all know this ain't happening.Comment

I think I'm changing my mind. The more I compare the more I realize how much potential this game can have. The players really feel like they have actual weight to them and actually plant their feet. While they still run like chickens half the time and need to fix the heck outa half those animations and player movements....the 'LIVE' feeling really stands out. I was comparing the atmosphere vs the other game and in this it really feels like you are zoomed in on the middle of a Live game. The other has blacked out upper decks and ceiling (not sure why..?) And the crowd is DULL. it makes a huge difference.
The players feel bigger too. In a good way. Hard to explain.
I hate to keep repeating my view but if they fix those player movements, animations, clunkyness, etc the game will be on it's own level of NBA gameplay.
It's got a really good technology where you feel like you are controlling the ball with these 'robots' so to speak and really launching it up there. Pretty fun when you don't focus on the simulation/authenticity of the animations.
Game has lots of fun explosive potential.
Do us right EA. Put some serious work in this for us. Get rid of the ps2 aspects.

It is not so much ridicule as it is choice. It is hard to justify $120 for two NBA games when there are so many other sports games plus high quality general games released around the same time.
For me right now, LIVE will have to beat 2K to get my money. That means depth, lack of bugs, removal of glitches in day one patch, continual support etc guaranteed.Comment
