There is no natural comparison. Its just people here are hell bent on it even if the rules of the site are against it.

Yeah other than them both being NBA basketball games striving for authenticity and aiming at similar if not the same audiences

It's not as if anyone was baiting or bashing on either game as a whole. Comparisons were drawn for reasonings for purchasing or not purchasing the game (thread purpose). It is not NBA Jam, they are both focused on the same.

But I respect the rules set on the boards.

First of all it wasnt' condescending... the point was it doesnt matter either way. The site has rules you agreed to when you signed up, and if you want to pretend you didn't see it I reminded you.

As far as this thread goes, cases being made for purchasing or passing on Live16 were perfectly innocent and inoffensive until the unnecessary Ralph Tresvant post derailed the entire thread



I just can't wait until this Friday and next Tues to play both games, the 2 together will fill every aspect of virtual basketball that I've been looking for. I think this year is going down as one of the best year's for sports gaming, every genre has one or two solid-to-great titles.

EDIT: guess the Live patch is only available to those with the full game early; not for the demo. Dang.

Wouldn't expect it for a demo. I agree, cashing out on NHL, Madden, maybe FIFA, at least one NBA if not both
