Hey guys are there any pictures showing us all the max caps for all positions and play styles? I would love to see the max caps for a 6'5"-6'6" SG (Outside)

You are probably going to have to wait until the game is out for awhile, or end up having to check it yourself. Unless the devs actually go over it all in their blog/twitch live stream. I'm very curious as well.

I saw in a stream last night a 6'11"of with outside play style with maxed out jump shooting has a 75 three pointer. I'm not really a fan of that personally evert yr pf's and centers are getting better at the 3. I think a 80-85 max would be better but balance it out by giving anyone that chooses outside play style as a bigman a lower athleticism cap. This way guys like Matt Bonner and Boris Diaw can be replicated as a my player.

I imagine diaw and bonners 3pt rating is around 75

My Player Max Caps

Max caps are legit, you are no longer going to be a basketball god. Max 3pt shooting is a 85, if you choose balanced you're maxed out at a 78 3t rating. Max speed for a slashing 6'3" PG is a 85, it's a 80 for a shooting PG same height. I'll post some pics tonight.

It sucks that Park ruined MyPlayers for those of us that don't play it. Park is unplayable anyway with the input lag in any online 2k mode. Now it's not even possible to make a Kevin Durant no matter how deep in to the mode you grind. Super dumb just to appease a crappy laggy unplayable mode.

the guy who made the thread his player is a 55 throughout his nba season made a 6'5 sg think balance though so I hope he can post in here.

Now I'm starting to believe these are soft caps, and the drills you run in MyCareer will be able to circumvent these caps, turning you to even more of a specialist.

That's possible and it would make sense for you to have to play my career to improve a lot

A couple of points:

1) This does not take into account the purchasable VC boosts. That should be another 5 points to shooting.

2) We don't know the math behind shot calculation. We do know that height differential has a fairly large effect on shot contest strength. It makes sense to cap bigs quite a bit lower than guards just to keep shot% under control. Otherwise, you might see a 6'11" guy shooting 55% from three over the course of a season just because the game sees him as always open while a 6'2" pg is read as being contested.
