A Top Notch NBA 2K Shoe Creator Feature

23 made a thread recently about wanting a better CAP system so here's mine for a better shoe creator. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...r-feature.html

The shoe creator has been ignored since its first introduction in NBA2K and I think it's time for an upgrade especially after seeing some of the new features in the upcoming NBA 2K16.

Here are two ideas I think could help push creativity in 2K even more.

    1. Using the same method for uploading/creating logos for courts and jerseys, allow use to add images to a blank canvas in the shoe creator. For example, this will allow us to upload logos and move them anywhere on the shoe and not be restricted to having a Nike logo in only 3 areas when creating a shoe.

    2. Make a Shoe hub similar to the new community image section for logos. Roster creators have been asking for shoes to be tied to their custom rosters for years, this could help with that by allowing us to upload our shoe creations to 2kshare for the community to download. (give us an option to preview the shoe.)

If you have any ideas, feel free to comment with them below.

If we can't get this, I at least want the sharing of created shoes like custom rosters.

But I'd love to see the creativity with this idea

      1. Bring back the ability to give layers 'team color 1/2' so when equipped on players from different teams, it automatically changes colors (This is better than current system of having to create the same shoe in various colors, to suit different team colors).

      2. Patterns section could use some better patterns. Current ones are fairly useless tbh, with most of the patterns being too similar. Add some snakeskin, leopard print etc.

      3. Scale, Move and Flip functions. Wouldn't it be easier for example if under 'logo' you select the Nike logo, then could move it to where you want, and size it how you want.
It's also annoying when creating a shoe from scratch and you go to overlay and there's an overlay you like, but would like it positioned somewhere else but it stuck in on place. Would be nice to be able to move it to where you want.

      4. More overlays such as different types of straps added.

That's all I can think of right now lol

I would love a new shoe editor/creator, I think every part of each shoe should be editable. They should make it like NikeID

I think we should be able to add our own picture instead of using the patterns that they have

The shoe creator, as it stands now, is broken (unless some patch has been released that fixed it). When I equip created shoes, the shoes lose material and texture. Don't tell me MyCareer is about crafting a story about a future NBA star and the only way I can wear nice shoes is to wear Kobes or LeBrons or Jordans.
