The speed variations between players intrigue me, I wonder just how much of a difference it makes from a guy with a speed rating of 94 compared to a guy of say 97.

Maybe the split second he reaches top speed at his running speed peak. Not sure but I think i heard that somewhere. might no notice those two alot since it would be like whats Wall's vs. Lin or Flash Wade's peak speed

This was a good read. One of my biggest issue with past games is the speed differential between players, or lack thereof. I'm glad to see that they finally have someone who can make players unique, now that he's had a full cycle to work on it. Fast breaks should be a lot more fun this year.

I have been complaining about NBA 2k's inflated ratings for the last 5 years. It broke the game.

Was not buying NBA 2k16 as after the trash Madden 16 is I decided just to stop with crap sports games and throw in the towel sport gaming is dead.

After reading this I am pre ordering NBA 2k 16 right after this post. Finally 2k brings in roster people that get it.

Definitely will be interesting to see how this years game plays out now with a full year of Beds working with ratings. Other than Association glitches in the past it has been the poor ratings of players that has held NBA2k back, which led to some even wondering who this supposed 2k insider was or even if he was real, if he was actually real then he was truly clueless to the game of basketball, and if he wasn't real then how on earth were these ratings coming from.


NBA2k has always had talented devs that you can tell love the game of basketball like MLBTS devs love baseball, but the overall rating system was broken that NBA2k was using. In reality your never going to make 100% of the gamers happy, or the actual players themselves as their will always be homers, and players that think they are better than they actually are, but for the game to be great it has to have a unbias ratings system, and one thing I always noticed with Beds rosters were he was unbias, and did his best with a broke system for ratings to make players life like.


I thought last year with 15 that the rating of players had improved but still needed some work, so now that Beds has a full year under his belt we should see a vast improvement in how players are rated and how improved gameplay is because of ratings being more accurate. Plus with ratings being more accurate we can only hope that factors into better simulation stats in your My League's and My Career modes, as long as their isn't any glitches in the simulation as NBA2k has been widely known for over the years.

Key thing for me was BEDs roster team.

Means there is a team doing rosters and not one person. One person should never do rosters. Shot at you EA and Madden.....

I will be helping again like last year streamline the communities' accessory/shoes requests along with any other current roster innaccuracies.
