2 things I want in Madden...AGAIN...

1. Assistant Coaches. One of my favorite aspects of running 32 team franchises used to be rewarding assistant coaches with head coaching jobs and seeing former players step in. Now, surely, some of the coaches were overpowered and some were pointless, but I'd like to see coaches have more strengths and weaknesses and see that have an effect...not the RPG element. Coaches are what they are, Jeff Fisher isn't going to be better because he makes it past 8 wins finally...

2. Probable, Questionable, Out. The injury report used to be a lot more fun in my opinion. Activating hurt players for big games felt more real to me. Let's say Romo goes down with a day-to-day injury right before the Super Bowl...I'd like to have the option of starting him at 75% rather than see him miss the biggest game of his career due to an injury he could play through in real life. Let us have the players back with penalties (Probable-85%, Questionable-75%, Doubtful-50% or OUT). Again, it would feel much more real.

Just thinking aloud. Anyone else?

Yep to both. The list of things they once had and took out whatever reason is exhaustive. CFM needs to be completely rebuilt, it's simply not very good as it is now.

But I'm still enjoying the games, and there's not much we can do until next year anyways.

How in the world did you not say "defensive assignments". So sick of people being able to move #1 WR in to the slot to face my crappy DB's on the regular. If I have Revis I want him on Antonio Brown regardless where he lines up. I don't understand why they ever got rid of that ability.

This is what they do though. For some strange unknown reason, every year, they put on their dunce cap, sit around a table, discuss which features people like, whic features are realistic and then vote on which ones get removed. Hopefully this regime actually cares about franchise mode and gives us a one that doesn't fail miserably when compared to games a decade old now.

1: Absolutely!!! That was fun, I remember people like Vinny Testaverde would retire then become an OC, or Ray Lewis would become a DC, that was epic.

2. Yea that would be much cooler then it just saying 3 weeks out or whatever, to add a cool realism to it also would be game time decisions so as you go to start it up it alerts you that so-and-so is active or can not play.

Like the 1 guy said Defensive assignments still missing makes 0 sense, I mean how in the world is that difficult to add back into the game, I play as the Jets, its safe to assume I like to run Man to Man coverage and would like to see Revis on #1 WR every time I play it!!!

1 thing I would like to add is bring back restricted free agents, it makes signing these 3rd-7th rounders worth it when you sign them to a 3yr deal. After those 3yrs, assign a draft round to them, They get a mega offer you cant afford then you add draft picks or you match the deal...........this was in like Madden 06 LOL

All I want back from the old games is defensive assignments. I absolutely hate not being able to shadow #1 WR's with my best corner.
