I like the game (I always like the games) but I'm just soooo bad at them. I have it on Superstar/Sim and Real % for the shooting. I usually play on Pro but figured since Play Now Online is set to Superstar I may as well try that. Yikes...can't hit a shot to save my life and the CPU blows past any defender like they are standing still. Any time I try to go past a CPU defender they are stuck to me like glue and I can't get any space at all to do anything. It's the same with screens..CPU does one and it's like I hit a brick wall but when I try one they never get obstructed by it. They just brush it off like nothing happened.

It's just frustrating because I really want to at least be decent but I'm just failing horribly.

I hope once sliders come out it may help a bit but I'm not holding my breath.

Small suggestion, please stop allowing home teams to wear dark colored jerseys, I was on the road with the Hornets in a ranked game, and the guy picked the Wolves and wore their black jerseys. I also had the Hornets in black, and it was really hard to tell who was on my team at times.

From the Pres himself:

Go down to pro and play until you can consistently beat the AI in mismatches. Use hesitations to create space and drive around him.

Superstar sim is no cakewalk vs AI Defenders if your struggling beating them off the bounce go down until it's a non issue.

Part of the problem is it's more difficult than it used to be on the same level. So there are less drive opportunities. Use ball movement and screens to get shot opportuntites. Or change level / settings.

Do the players move like tanks like in 2k15? Input lag? Bottom line are players more responsive than they were in 2k15?

They really nerfed the perimeter shooting bigtime holy hell. I cant hit an outside shot with anyone on the Mavs to save my life. Dirk is a brick machine. It's going to take me a while to get used to the new controls.

Sorted out my pre-order and have finally got the game. Been playing the crap out of it for the last 5 hours.

Absolutely love it.

Silky smooth. Great looking sig shots. Player movement is incredible. Defense is NO joke!

And, the legends actually don't look that bad this year!!!

How does player movement compare to 2k15? They were way to sluggish/heavy. Also, there was definitely input lag. It's not my TV either which has only 20ms input lag. No problem with fighting games or FPS.

You just need to play on a lower level. There is a lot more basketball in this game than any other we have made. You need to be really fundamentlly sound with game mechanics and knowing your team before you move up. ESPECIALLY if your not a hardcore gamer or have stick stick skills.

You can't put it on superstar sim and expect the same level of success you had in past game.s. I always start on pro and only move up when I can do everything well enough to blow out the AI consistentlhy.

Very glad to hear some real Hiphop in the soundtrack. Heard at least two gritty songs by DJ Premeir with scratches in the chorus. Some boom bap gives the game a down to earth feel, rather than gimmicky or uppity.

I played my first myteam game and my opponent quit in the 4th quarter. I love the gameplay this year, it really rewards you for playing smart basketball rather than trying to cheese.BTW Marcus Morris is a beast on myteam.
