The developers were not lying when they said cheesers would not be rewarded playing with the top teams cavs, warriors, and thunder. I have seen opponents rage quit with the warriors not able to spam 3 pointers or rely on the cpu in zone defenses.
Have not had this much fun playing a 2k sports game in a while. It is actually fun to play now that intelligent basketball is rewarded.
Listening to the premo beats in the menus is soothing to the ears. Great experience overall so far.Comment

Game is phenomenal overall. However I just got done with my first NBA game in MyCareer and holy ****, the fouls. It was Pistons vs Hawks and I kid you not, 3 out of every 4 possessions were shooting fouls down low. One of the most frustrating 2K moments I've ever had. This didn't happen at all in high school or college so I'm hoping it was a random thing, otherwise I'll never touch this mode again.Comment

You can cheese a bit though when a Tier 2/3 team has to play a Tier 1 team. This guy I played basically used Westbrook & KD as free safeties against me when I was using the Kings, I had to bench Rondo and even then those 2 guys were able to double Collison on the ball and recover to shooters and if I got to the rim CPU Ibaka was there. It was annoying to say the least.Comment

Im very impressed with the sweat effect. BUT, when you play 7 minutes above quarter, the effects are gone. Hope 2K patch this up. I play 12mins quarter and it's killing the immersion.Comment

Been looking through the forums but haven't found much of a definitive answer, so I'll just ask, because I'm on the fence for buying this game because 1 thing.
Is there input lag for online games like there has been since the game has been out on current gen consoles. Everybody knows how online games in 2k haven't run nearly as smooth as they do offline. I just want the stinking game to feel and run the EXACT same online as it does offline, just as it did on last gen consoles, so is there input lag in 2k16? or have the finally fixed it?Comment

Yea I used to love the team specific broadcast cameras but this year I feel like they're tighter.
That one looked pretty solid, going to have to give it a try.
Getting the new controls down definitely takes time. It's not like going from 2k14 to 2k15 where you could pick it up and everything was pretty much the same. They gave you the ability to do a lot more things once you're able to get the controls down. I'm not a fan at first just because I liked the 2k15 controls but I know once I practice, yes practice, and get these controls down, i'll be amazed by just how good this game is.Comment

First off, a billion kudos for the work put into this game. It's wonderful. M-Dub, Czar, and anyone else from the 2K squad that interact with us folks on here.
A few quick hit impressions:
- I like the feel of the game. Having to virtually re-learn how to play and better time some of my moves and shots and I love it.
- Presentation is better than ever and I love the nice touches which I could on and on about but won't. Incredible job. The lil interviews in between quarters???? Maaaannnn....Steph Curry and that mouth piece??? Seen both in vids from a bit ago but to see them 'live' while playing sent chills down my spine....Wait, I said I wouldn't go on and on about them....
- The game just looks 'better' from the players to the crowds. Great job with the lighting and the scanning. And crowd head tracking?? Smh. I'm getting worked up thinking about this stuff.
Gotta leave it there. Getting revved up and I want to play again but now is not the time. Will dig into it more manana.

played a game as the 07 cavs against the current cavs, wanted to see the differences between the lebrons. They look almost the same but play different. I felt like I had to do so much with LeBron on my team obviously the rest of the 07 cavs are awful other than big z. It was a fun game but came up short in the end due to kyrie killing boobie or larry hughes.
Now I'm jus relaxing doing some homework and I put the 01 lakers vs 08 Celtics on cpu vs cpu and some stuff that's standing out to me through the first half. Kobe vs Pierce is a shootout. The Celtics started with ray allen on kobe but switched to rondo at some point and it really hasn't made a difference other than some aggressiveness. Shaq didn't do much In the first haf only took 6 shots had 6 points. Ray Allen has been lost In the shuffle so far, but pierce and garnett are really doing most of the work, while Kendrick Perkins somehow had 10 points in the first half. Cant wait for the second half to play outComment

Pretty sure I saw cellulite on one of the cheerleaders legs, too. Tho that could've been my imagination. Lol.Comment

Great game as far as gameplay is concerned.
Disappointed in other areas, especially the CAP. All of that customization that you have in creating a team, court, and layering tattoos did not rub off on CAP. Still can't add tattoos. Once you add a CAP to a roster and start say MyGM or MyLeague you can't edit his face or his facial and hair style (this would be great to do to correct the alien looking players in the incoming draft classes). Plus, adding weight to a player in CAP should be noticeable. It still isn't. Should be able to choose different body types in CAP, still can't. Actually they removed the ability to choose "ripped", "average", and so forth. More body adjusting sliders like 2K1 or 2K2 had. Should also be able to choose uniform fit. Basically, if you don't play MyPlayer, then 2K doesn't really care about you. Should be able to create a team and court/arena outside of a game mode also.
Something is still weird about the player models. I don't think they are as good as they can be. Can't quite put my finger on it. Still improved though.
How do you select the team colored Stance socks, or they randomly select them for you?Comment
