Scout not doing any draft scouting

I know he's supposed to come to me and ask who to scout next, but he's nowhere to be found. I've set the Task Automation to off and on but gotten the same results. What am I missing?

I even hired a new scout at the start of the season

Well then I got nothing. My advice is double check everything but maybe try contacting 2K support

Presumably you've gotten a bunch of games into the season? My scout didn't talk to me until after game 7, 8 or 9 (I forget exactly which).
