Re: NBA 2K16 Available Today, Post Your Impressions Here
Try turning up the CPU blocking foul slider if you haven't. I jacked it up a good amount and I'm seeing a lot more realistic blocking foul calls on the computer when I'm bumpedComment

Has anyone noticed that there are almost no swishes anymore? I played a 12 minute first quarter last night and there was one swish."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: NBA 2K16 Available Today, Post Your Impressions Here
I need to chime in again: does anyone know if the game has been patched?
I knocked the game up to Pro just to check out the damage, and it played beautifully! The CPU started missing MORE shots(!?), and the shots they made were shots that SHOULD go in. It may seem counter-intuitive, but by the looks of it they scored more when I was subbed out and less when I was on the court. They even set a record low FT% - 73. So maybe the "bench cheese" will overtake the "shot cheese" as the difficulty level rises - I can live with that. And I actually set a personal high in offensive rebounds, for both 2K16 AND 2K15!
Given, I played to kill and not to play fun basketball-ish (and totally blew them off the court), and it was only one game, but I haven't seen the CPU miss this much in almost 30 games on rookie (not counting the hs/college/1st season games and yes I have only played on rookie so far to get the hang of the new controls and so and such). They even missed a dunk, which I haven't seen so far in 2K16! I still miss a little too much for my liking, but as long as the CPU does it as well it's all good.
The CPU still gets too many loose balls and my defense is still too dumb, and it's still too frenetic, but the game played so obviously differently that it cannot be due to the level alone. I have set the game to autoupdate, so I don't know if any patch has been applied?Last edited by Hooperport; 09-29-2015, 02:07 PM.Comment

I took notice to this too, until I also noticed that the players that were providing swishes where guys that really know how to shoot the ball then I wasn't to mad about it, but I think its the new ball rim mechanics they added this year too that has slowed down swishes.Comment

My experiences speaks differently. I get a lot of swishes on my end and from the CPU on 12 minute quarters. But maybe I need to take mental notes next of how many swishes there are in my games.Comment

Interesting. I'm on RealFG% instead of timing, maybe that has something to do with it."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Online is fun except there are people still cheating with lag switching and all. Its unfortunate. That's not 2ks fault. Online is unplayable for me

People have probably said this already.... But the floater is in a perfect place right now. When 2k first brought the floater it was either too powerful or didn't hit enough and it just didn't feel like a floater (like you were trying to beat the height of the defense). Now it's perfect..... You get really nice height to the ball. And you can do it in different places on the floor. It's really amazing. I love when the CPU use it over my big men. It just seems so perfect. I can't even complain lolHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Delay in Icon passing. There are some delays when passing period. I would say about 2 seconds and then the ball passes. This game doesn't feel right. I went back to play 2k15 and it's a world of difference. Yes the animations are great and makes the game feel quite organic. Unfortunately, this is by far the worse 2K has produced. It just feels like a concept product that will be 2k17. Never thought this day would come.Comment

Wow sorry to hear that man. I'm not having that same issue, and i haven't seen anyone here mention a 2 second pass delay or non responsive controls. A problem like that i'm 100 percent sure that would be a number 1 complaint talked about on this site. I haven't even felt that kind of delay when playing online.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Playing MC, it is a great addition rolling from HS to college. My only gripe is why isnt the national championship played at a neutral site? All NBA arenas in the game and winning the NC is played at a home site?
2K puts together a great story mode and sucks the air out if the experience by basically providing a lame NC experience. Winning the NC should at least feel like an accomplishment.
I know it is a small part but if a developer is going to include it at least keep it immersive. What?Comment
