Finally starting to get better at WC. I have some really bad habits of trying to force the action. FIFA 15 got me away from dissecting the d and making me think about how I wanted to create a chance. It was just pace and outrunning the CPU. Every match I do that on this game gets me in a world of hurt with the CPU counterattack. It is cool to have to go back to the chess match. I've just got to keep reminding myself this isn't 15.

Snuck in a game this morning and got my tail kicked. I think feeling rushed to get a game in before work pushed me into some bad choices.

Really enjoying the game...just need to improve or I'll be getting fired!

You need to be extremely patient in WC in both D and attack. Begin switching players like crazy on D and you'll have problems right away. You've got to know your player positions and never risk pressuring way out of player's "D ability area".
I had a brilliant game against ManU at home. I was up 1-0 early and they managed to come in front 1-2. I made some tactical changes and forced them to park the bus. Equalizer on 89' and winning goal on 90' for a fantastic 3-2 comeback. I'm seeing tons of fouls in my games probably because of the quick and technical players of Leicester. Mahrez, Kante, Dyer, Schlupp and Vardy are exceptional so far (to a degree because I'm just above the relegation zone...).

Set 7 is really good. Having some great matches, great defensive battles. Anybody else's goalie playing out of his mind? Steklenburg has gotten man of the match in half of my games. Sitting 4th with Southampton going intobStamford bridge in matchday 9.

How many minute hales are you playing? I'm playing 10 and I feel like the scorelines are too low.

10 minutes. I have realistic scorelines so far after 14 games in MM but it depends on the team you are using and how early the first goal is scored. There are multiple parameters that kick-in the game depending on various situations. It's a huge string of algorithms including morale, momentum etc. All these are tied most of the time to the scoreline.
That said, if you raise the halves to 15 minutes there won't be 6-5 or 7-4 scores. There are strings/command lines that take care of this extra time addition. This means you'll still get realistic results most of the time.
An example: If you're up 2-0 or 3-0 in a game most chances are that you're gonna win 4-0 or at least you'll keep your 2 goals advantage until the end of the match. An early 2-0 at around 30' has big impact on the opponents morale and momentum.
It's fun to mess with all these on the pc but it's tiresome and time consuming to test every change you make.

Sorry for the somewhat unrelated post but I'm taking advantage of a hot thread.

After reading about FIFA16 I went out to purchase it. I had a manager's career going in FIFA15 with Man City where I had one game remaining in the 38 game season. I completed that and since I finished in the top four in the table (2nd) I was expecting to get to play in the Champion's League tourney.

After paging through an interminable amount of player transaction detritus I came upon the start of my second season. I don't really want to play another season on F15, but is this the only way to play the CL?

KG, I recommend going up to 15. I find the AI also plays at a better pace at this setting. Last year I played at 10 but find 15 to be much better this year because of the build up play by the AI. Last night I played against Swansea and held them to 7 shots (mostly all outside) and I had 17 myself as Chelsea.

No, you can play in the CL in the first season as long as you enable it.

Bought it yesterday and I have to say I'm really impressed. My daughters LOVED playing with the women's teams (hopefully they can create female players next year), and I'm really glad to see Canada back as an international option. I know we're not a powerhouse, but from a sales and PR standpoint it's a long overdue move. Add on to the what feels like improved gameplay (the AI really whips the ball around a lot more than 15) and loading times and colour me impressed.

Yep. Try Legendary in a exhibition game KG.

The reason I switch from 10 to 15 for Legendary is because breaking down the AI takes work\time. Playing 10 is not enough as it doesn't equal enough scoring opportunities on either end. I think you'll be pleased with the attacking AI on Legendary.

Yeah I cant play on higher than pro. As Milan and Dortmund, Ive had league 2 teams drop 4 goals on me in world class, and most times I cant even get a shot on goal. Doesnt matter the slider set either. It annoys me to no end.

Im gonna have to put this down and move tovnba 2k for a while.

Rather disappointed that sleeve patches don't change when you get into the PL. I just won the promotion playoff with Portsmouth and now I'm wearing the Football League patches playing in Premier League matches. For a game that's strength is presentation, that is rather poor.
