    Contested Jumpers

Does anyone have tips on hitting contested/pull-up jumpers with stars or good players? I know this isn't the ideal shot but players do it all the time. I can only hit jumper when I'm completely wide open. I don't have a problem using screens and picks to do so but can never hit a contested J. Thanks for any input.

All I can say is practice, practice, practice practice...they've adjusted somethings, and shooting seems to be one of them, I've found that making contested shots is harder than in years past.

Run plays or use the ace freelance offense to create space for your players. This year its really hard to just come down the court and hitting contested jumpers

Also the new hold/cold system play a huge role in shooting. If u hot u can actually hit contested jumpers ala 2k15 but if u are cold then u better create space and use your hotzones

I wish the timing on contested jumpers was a little more consistent...

there are some guys with lighting quick releases that have long release contested jumpers
