Freshman LB Kyle Lee transferring to Temple

Freshman linebacker Kyle Lee has officially been released from his scholarship and will transfer to Temple, according to Coach Diaco and the Hartford Courant.

The Connecticut native redshirted in 2018 and Coach Diaco had high expectations for Lee moving forward.

This isn't a huge loss, however, as UConn has numerous young linebackers who will be playing next season.

Hamilton accepted into Old Dominion

New Old Dominion coach Doug Meacham, former offensive coordinator at TCU, has announced that he has accepted dismissed UConn quarterback David Hamilton into the program.

Hamilton was dismissed in December after his second violation of UConn's strict policy on drinking and a DUI. He will have to sit out 2019, but will be eligible to play in 2020.

In starting five of the first six games for UConn in 2018, Hamilton threw for 602 yards with 3 TD's and 4 INT's before separating his shoulder in the Oklahoma State game, ending his season.

Old Dominion QB Drew Barker threw for over 4000 yards and 58 TD's a year ago, and with an offense even more pass-oriented under Meacham, Hamilton should have some success. We wish him the best in Norfolk.

But I'd be happy with a paragraph or 2, maybe highlighting key contributors from last year, including the ones that team lost. As well as any newcomers that we should watch for, or you think the team is going to lean on

For the sliders, that's the same set I've been using. The games play really well for me, but the overall stats across the league just don't add up like I'd like them to

Thanks for the input guys. I spent some time writing up depth charts for about half the CAC's last night, hopefully I can finish up tonight and get this posted some time soon.

This is one of these posts I'd like to frame on my wall. Thank you very much for the kind words bud. I take extreme pride in the detail and statistics that tie this project together (statistics are your friends!), so that is the best compliment anyone can give me.

College 'ball is indeed a lot harder to understand than the NFL, but hopefully from reading this you have a bit of a better grasp on the sport. Really glad you are enjoying this vinaa!
