    Week 5: Seattle Seahawks (2-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (4-0)

This is the big test, though I'm sure most people still won't believe in the Bengals until they do something in January, which is fine.

Some Bengals fans are driving me crazy. If you're familiar with reddit, I got downvoted like crazy on the Bengals subreddit because I said we need to worry about our defense. Alex f'n Smith threw for just under 400 yards against us and it's the second week in a row that a WR has lit us up. Their counter is "our defense is fine because it doesn't give up points". While true, I hardly consider the Chiefs or any team we've faced though far an elite offensive team, nor have we faced an elite defensive team. Bengals are ranked 20th in total yards given up on defense, 10th in points. I'm sorry but the whole "bend don't break" defense worries me when it comes to playing elite teams, and other Bengals fans don't seem to understand that. What are everyone's thoughts?

My prediction: Bengals 24, Seahawks 20

Short week, 10 AM Pacific start, on the road, with a center that can't snap the ball accurately, a hilariously bad o-line, against a team that's 4-0 and looking really good. I'd say the odds are pretty stacked against the hawks in this one.

      Bengals 21 Seahawks 17

Bengals DL is going to have a field day on the Seahawks OL, I do question if they will be able to actually contain Wilson though when they get pressure. Linebackers are not great and the secondary is leaking, especially if Iloka isn't healthy.

Green/Eifert/Jones/Sanu versus the Seahawks secondary should be fun to watch.

Excited to see the Cincy Offense against our defense. Giving up just 3 points in 2 NFL games is crazy

You are counting the Jimmy Clausen led Bears as an "NFL Team"?

The Bengals start out hot every year and collapse yes, but something tells me this year is different.

I my self am no Bengals fan by any means but they eventually are gonna start being for real and this might be their statement game, going with the Bengals in this one.

We'll be alright. Won't predict a score, tho.

The offensive line has GOT to be better.

I'm feeling good about the game, despite most experts picking Cincy to win. Usually when everyone picks us, we tend to lose. Lynch being out makes me feel even better.

Despite Chancellor playing now, I expect Dalton to put up similar numbers that Rodgers did against the Seahawks. Rodgers is the best but Dalton has way more weapons at his disposal than Rogers did. That's the beauty of this Bengals offense, you never know who is going to be the star in any given game.

Also apparently Seattle has 3 healthy CBs? 4 WR + Eifert sets will kill them.

I think you're underestimating the Hawks defense quite a bit. Especially with our starting SS playing again.

I think it'll be a close game, but neither team should expect this to be a comfortable win.

Nah I'm not. If anything, you're underestimating how potent and diverse the Bengals offense is. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but Seattle has everything going against them. Terrible OL, star RB out, long road trip on a short week after barely squeaking by a terrible team. You pretty much have to choose one guy to shut down and inevitably get burned by someone else. It's happened every week so far and it's not going to stop now, especially with such a depleted team with everything working against them.

I'm looking forward to this game.

Even with a healthy Jordy Nelson, a healthy Randall Cobb and a healthy Davante Adams, the Packers were beat twice last year by the Seahawks. Yeah, one of the losses were their own undoing, but that Seahawk defense, if it's firing on all cylinders, can shut down opposing offenses, no matter how many weapons you may have.

It will be a good game, no doubt.

While true, the Seahawks are not nearly as good on the road as they are at home, which IIRC, both games were @ Seattle. The Bengals are nearly as dangerous at home; 15-3-1 since 2013. If this game were in Seattle, I'd almost certainly give it to the Seahawks, but with everything that I've previously stated, Cincy is rightfully the favorite here.

Wish I could watch this one. I like the Bengals to win. Think the Seahawks have too much going against them right now, and the Bengals, particularly that offense, are playing really good football. Dalton definitely has the weapons to do it.
