Why are there no update notes for these things? About to fire it up and see if anything has changed. Only problem I'm having is with the commentary, so time to see if this fixes it.

I just saw. Would be amazing if they fixed the performance issues, online is unplayable right now.

They fixed the issue with icons not showing up (handoff, icon pass, play icons...).

Never had any icon issues on my side. Didn't fix commentary, which just kills the game for me.

We're still investigating the commentary issue and we have a fix in the works, just not enough time to test it to make it into today's update.

This is a minor PC-specific hotfix, following last week's hotfix, which attacks various issues that cause stuttering and worse framerate than last year. I don't have any specific patch notes, but I believe those should be posted soon.

Can you tell me why I continue to have the audio stuttering that messes with the frame rates no matter what you do?

I have an FX 8350 processor and an R9 280X graphics card

I don't understand where this issue stems from but I'd love to get rid of it

Seems to happen when there is alot of activity either near the paint or when running up court on the break (all 10 players)

Can anyone confirm if the player sweat on 12 minute games is still non existent?


Not a biggy, just at work currently and curious if that's now or later.....

Game seems silky smooth for me now. My framerate hasn't improved much (60 mostly, down to 40 ish at times), but there no longer seems to be stutters for me.

You mean 9/29? I still get the audio stuttering issue. It's not my graphics card

I can play any and every game I have on high to ultra without a hitch, and 2k is the only game that does this ridiculous stuttering.

I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere either.

Have you guys thought of just creating a permanent sticky thread here regarding patch nodes that can be used as a reference? Would be handy seeing most people use this site for their 2K news rather than the official website...

Icon passing is fixed for me. Will have to wait till the evening to try out a full game.

As I said, these are hotfixes meant to improve performance for as many PC configurations as possible and resolve some reported PC-only rendering issues for some configurations.

Don't expect cross-platform issues such as sweat to be fixed in these or other general game improvements, those will come with the cross-platform patches down the road. Don't have an ETA on that but we're working on all known issues.
