Re: Mid Range Shot Cheese Is Back With Full Force!
Based on my Saturday October 10, My Park experience
SG, 70 on mid range, badges include: deadeye, unphased, and shot creator all on gold.
My first attempt was a green but I could readily feel thereafter that the tuning has made it more challenging to get a green. It's more challenging based on how smooth the meter moves compared to default tuning - the meter is not as crisp which makes it more challenging.
In about 5 games played : only one middy clanked
Sidenotes: opponents and teammates are definitely making 3s at a higher clip. It's not so much overall either, most perimeters max out their outside scoring from the get go. So while I did face some guys who are 90+ overall : it's not saying much compared to an 88 or 85 who also has outside scoring maxed out with the same critical badges.
Overall, it wasn't anything overbearing. Open 3s were still missed by elite shooters as well as open middys and you still had to respect both ranges.
The majority of my teammates misses came inside the paint due to untimely, and unfortunate dunk and layup animations that didn't fit the context. One game I had 3 misses and 2 were on dunk attempts lol
