sometimes you have to wait a little... Also i think depends on your time zone... Night in US are the best times.

For me it's unplayable, even with very fast internet connection I have. Slight delays are killing it for me : ( Last time I had great online experience it was 2k 14.

When I used to find games most of them ended with this error message:
"A problem has been encountered that prevents the gameplay from continuing. This game will not be counted." It happened so frequently I started to get paranoid that people that people were doing it on purpose when they were losing. Whatever, I just want to play so I queue anyway. I haven't found a game in few days. I usually look for a matches between seven and midnight.

As soon as one of the two users goes into the coach settings or defensive settings in the pause menu, the game will display this error message...


@OP sometimes you have to wait a little for a play now game. But park? When I go to the park, there are so many people, nearly every court is full all the time!

Tried PRO AM on PS4 last night at a friend's place and it was going nuts. Easy to get a game / tons of people online.


Tried PRO AM on my PC............................................... felt like Robinson Crusoe.


No one at all...just stood there waiting for ages. Tried again..........no one.


Leaderboards are all low.


I have the game via STEAM...i.e. I paid for it.


Everyone knows though that this game, and others, has tons of people playing pirated versions. They cannot play online (rightly).


But it means the online stuff is barren.


I may even buy the game again on PS4 just for PRO AM if the PC stays this empty.

2k15 was the same way. That's why I got this one on PS4. Gonna wait for a Steam sale so I can flex my 980ti.

I told myself I wasnt going to pick this up on steam unless it was playable online this year unlike last year and so far it doesnt sound good which is too bad

I'm in California, and I used to think that no one played this online on pc. But then I started using WTFast, which allows you to change your region. Now, if I switch to an East Coast server, the park is full! 2k really needs to fix this. I shouldn't have to use some 3rd party program just to be able to play the game online.

Finding matches for RTTP takes quite a while, not to mention online challenges where I always canceld my last searches after a few minutes...

Are there numbers about how big the different online communities (PS4, XBOX & PC) are?

I'm in California, and I used to think that no one played this online on pc. But then I started using WTFast, which allows you to change your region. How is the lag when you're playing through the East Coast servers?

Have you tried it with MyTeam RttP? Better chance of getting games in that mode by using East Coast?

Yeah this would happen anytime someone opened their steam over-lay while in-game. This game blows.
