(5-0) Cincinatti Bangles @ (3-2) Buffalo Bills
Good news for the bills. Tyrod, Mcoy and Watkins are all practicing today. Tyrod says the knee is feeling better. So hopefully all three are playing Sunday. Bad news. A 5-0 Bangles team is coming to town. I can see this being a trap game for them, IF we can limit mistakes and penalties. This is going to be a tough one for buffalo. Unfortunately i see us getting blown out in the first half than rallying late in the fourth 31-24 cincinatti.Tags: None -

As much as I want to say with certainty that the Bills will win it really all depends on the personnel on the field and how well they execute without mistakes. The main hope is that the Bengals treat this like a trap game and the Bills can jump up and bite them on the butt.

Our best hope is that Tyrod plays well and doesn't get hit much at all. He sits next week to recuperate because the Jaguars are a floating barge fire. Gets better during the bye.
Of course, its the Bills, so none of that is bound to happenProud member of the OS Bills Backers.

So is Cincinnati.
Both teams have the jury out on their legitimacy, though the questions won't be answered until the playoffs. Of course, each team is held to different levels of success.
Cincy is allowing a good chunk of change to RB's, so hopefully our starters can go and if not it at least bodes well for Herron and hopefully we see more of Dixon.
They just saw Seattle so it's hard to say this will be their biggest defensive test, though it is a different type of defense that produces similar-ish results.
If Manuel plays, I have a strange confidence in him. I pretty much railed against him all offseason but he made a strong case to start. The preseason typically means nothing, but all the QB's played well and then Taylor kept it up in the regular season so I'm wondering if Roman's offense is just good at getting the most out of players.
This being at home gives us an extra boost. I'd love to take this game, move to 4-2 and beat one of the better teams in the league. My gut says it's going to be a nail biter and we win by a point... again.
Wanna hear Cincy fans thoughts. That offense has so many weapons.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Not too concerned about this one, just want to make it out completely healthy. We have a bye next week and then the showdown with Pitt which is also likely going to be the return of Vontaze Burfict. If he's back to form, we're about to get a whole lot scarier.
As far as this game goes, I expect Cincy to win. No disrespect to Buffalo but Dalton just dissected a better defense last week. Eifert should get more attention paid to him after the way he owned Kam Chancellor, which will open the door for someone else to have a big game.
Bottom line, Cincy just has too many weapons to handle. Bengals 31, Bills 20

Stephon Gilmore and Ron Darby have been consistently graded in the top 10 CBs by PFF. I know it is a young season, obviously, but they have been playing stellar, and Ron Darby is a likely DROTY candidate.Proud member of the OS Bills Backers.

With the exception of Brady our defense has pretty much shut down every qb we've faced. Manning and mariota had ok days against us nothing stellar. Giants game was closer than what the score was, But penalties killed us in the end. I think this game is going to be a lot closer than people think. Not saying we're going to win by any means just think we're going to keep it tight. dalton is no Brady and Gilmore has improved a lot since the last time we faced the bengals. Now we have two of the top three corners in league. To say dalton will walk over us is a stretch. This is the type of team we need to beat if we want to prove we have what it take to make the playoffs.Comment

Honestly, the only advantage you guys have going for you in this game is home field. Seattle's defense > Buffalo's defense and we just shredded them. Like many going into Seattle, you're still underestimating our offense. The Bengals offense is just as good as the Pats (5th in passing, 10th in rushing), so I'd expect similar results. The Pats are only averaging 2.4 more YPG than the Bengals are.Comment

Guess will just have to wait until Sunday. You guys were only favored by a point last I checked. Think this one could go either way. Maybe I'll eat my words Sunday night. Still think this will be a close game. As a bills fan I'm cautiously optimistic but in the end I know you guys will probably get the W.Comment

Seattle playing in Cincy for a 10am PST game is very different than Cincy playing in Buffalo... and lets not forget Cincy had to make a big comeback to "shred" the Hawks.
The Pats play the Bills twice a year, every year. With BB and Brady (and Rex's aggressive all or nothing attack mode on defense) it's pretty predictable that they execute a strategy that makes one of the best defenses look silly. Not to mention Cincy's offensive numbers are inflated by big games against defenses like the Raiders and the Ravens.
You've said plenty that's correct (Cincy may be the most complete team in the league, lots of offensive weapons, Dalton's playing great, defense is scary). But your logic presented in that last post is way off.Comment
