Pro-AM Suggestions/Ideas

Pro-AM has the potential to be the BEST online mode I've ever seen, BUT there are a lot of PRACTICAL fixes that could be patched in (will add your suggestions to this first post too):

- Home/Away Jersey selection a lot of instances where custom jerseys clash with similar colors.

- Ability to Adjust Quarter lengths (people tend to quit after the 1st half, especially if they're losing).

- Ability to play more than just 5v5 (similar to Rocket League)

- Ability to play on somebody's custom court even if there is no 3 man team playing.... it's just way more fun to play in front of a crowd than a ghostly rec center

- Add VC reward to custom arenas! Why reward VC in Pro-Am court but not custom court?

- Better Stat Tracking- Player of the game, quarter stats/game stats, better leader board stat sorting.

- Commentary option though would have to avoid hearing "Freq passes it to Freq -ohhh Freq rejects Freq!"

- This one might be more difficult, but how about a queue/substitution system? People quitting is a big problem... a free game like Rocket League automatically subs a new player in when someone quits.

Things I want to see:

- Commentary. It would add so much more to the experience. Being able to hear them call out what your team is doing well or poorly. Hearing the reaction to a nasty block or posterizing jam.

- Rosters. Dedicated rosters where your tied to a team. You could even make it so you could be on multiple teams like up to 5. That would be much better and make the leaderboards more legit.

- Customization. Being able to put designs on more spots on the court. Ex. Underneath free throw line.

I would like to see a patch with:

Home and Away Jerseys

Ability to use a bench (basically add a waiting area/got next near the court similar to park)

Custom 5v5 in your court. I want to take my crew up against my friend's crew.

Some clarification where this mode is headed. Why are we keeping records? Is there a playoff system?

This seems completely necessary. I've yet to play one game that doesn't suffer from people quitting the game.

Would be nice if you could sub in from a queue, also if it had matchmaking abilities (prioritize friends over randoms), that'd be too awesome.

Rocket League does it and it's a free game.

A quick fix could just to be to add a "Forfeit" button - if you're the last dude on a team of computers, you shouldn't get penalized for forfeiting either.

- Make it possible to challenge other teams. This is absolutely crucial if you want any kind of competitive side to pro-am. You can't arrange 3rd party tournaments and leagues without an ability to directly challenge other teams.

- Cut time on waiting around. There's a lot of dead air between inbounds and free throws.

Commentary

We wanted more immersion from the Rec Center in 2K15, I was so excited because I assumed (stupidly) this would be in the game already but nope.

Home/Away Jerseys

Haven't been able to play yet (Xbox) but I already seen on My Team too many guys with similarly colored jerseys playing against eachother. This is just another thing that should've been thought about before the mode went live.

Playbooks

Not just playbooks but default it so we see the playart on the floor too when it's called so people know what to do.

Rosters/Bench/Foulouts

Basically like Crew, have fatigue mean something as well as fouls. If you have to make VC so prevalent then make us pay more VC to use a better team's roster for our Pro-Am team.

VC payout

We're playing about a half hour's length of a game. Give us incentive to do so. If we play well, give us a better cut and if you play poorly you deserve less.
Also, I don't wanna get penalized for losing as a team. VC is singular, it's mine. If I play very well and my team loses by a point, watch me get like 150 VC....really...?

Private Matches

Not only just to play against friends, but also you know how many possibilities this could lead to?
Setting up leagues on sites such as this: competitive leagues, money leagues, MLG stuff possibly?
Not just that, but we all know them trash talkers in the park or whatever that wanna play you again...well alright let me just set up a quick game in my arena and take you out in front of the home crowd while the announcers talk about how bad of basketball you're playing.

That's all I have now since I haven't even played a game yet....but I'm sure there'll be more once the patch actually drops for us on Xbox.

There needs to be squad vs squad auto matchmaking for starters, not this weird half arsed system mixing joining as a group into a walk on which is just weird.

You should be able to form a set roster with your friends then queue up and see the other team's logo, record, leading stats leaders etc during the loading screen.

There needs to be leaderboards and online pro am leagues with standings etc. or perhaps even a playoff format.

Really underwhelmed with pro am in general as it turned out to be so bare bones compared to what I envisioned.

Oh and scale back the # of timeouts FFS, giving each team 7 in a 6 minute quarter game is just providing ammunition for trolls to delay the game.

this year they kick you out the game after 6 fouls and the computer takes over.

See I don't like that cuz as a bigman even the best defensive bigs in the game (Deandre, Howard, etc) will foul out...shouldn't be punished like that.

-replay for great moves slam dunks or buzzer beaters.

-uppgrades for the coaching staff ( where they are btw) like gatorades pack towels 5000 vc or 1500 vc
-rosters
-8min qtr
-the sound in the home court dsnt work like after a 3pts or a block etc even you have to tune it in the pro am option menu.

I haven't even touched pro am yet, I could but My myplayer isnt ready yet. hopefully they'll do an esport event for pro am

I wonder how difficult it'd be to put a Portal to Pro-Am in the Park (like they have to go to other parks)?

It does suck that the fastest way to earn VC is to play offline.... you barely get any VC for MyPark or Pro-am, especially if you lose.

Losing online sucks even more when you only get like 60 vc for the effort.
