    All madden - all pro

What level do you play on. I play all pro - I am 8-0. I won the super bowl last year.
After I won it I bumped up the cpu sliders to make it tougher for me. If I win it again then I will bump up to all madden. Will that make it that tougher or should I bump up solders more on all pro????

All Madden definitely.. All Pro is far too easy no matter what sliders.. I made my own All Madden set and I'm loving it.. Winning is actually a challenge..

      I play all-pro

I will absolutely never play all madden cause it boosts the CPU players ratings and makes it not only seem unfair but its just unrealistic (slower players run faster then faster players). If I want a better challenge, I boost the sliders in CPUs favor. no need for all-madden. currently I have user run blocking 0 and CPU run blocking 75. and both pass blockings at 40. everything else is default. the game plays great for me.

All Madden.. Custom sliders.. 0 speed parity.. Therefore if you call the wrong play you'll be smoked.. Honestly the guys who play All Pro have "no switch rules.." All Madden does cheat a bit so I do as well by switching players in big plays.. It balances out..

i dont see how someone can enjoy it when they know and acknowledge that both CPU and user sides are cheating. i like it when its hard to win but im not that desperate for a challenge that I will just allow both sides to cheat. just takes the fun right out of it in my opinion.

I'm beginning to come around to your line of thinking. I have played on All-Madden since I got the game, but lately I've found myself restarting offline CFM games routinely because ridiculous things happen that I just simply cannot accept. Things like average running backs breaking 4 tackles with two of those being Luke Keuchly and Thomas Davis and taking it 80 yards to the house. It's one thing for big plays like that to happen on occasion, but it happens far too often.

Have you played on All Madden with this years game or are you making these assumptions based on the past?

I've had the same type of stuff happening on All-Pro even. If I go up by 3 TDs in a game I know for a fact that some cheap play is coming. I've watched my own defensive players run out of bounds on flat zone coverage in order for the opposing WR to catch the ball and break 2 tackles on a first down run. In a game against another user in my online cfm I watched as his RB(Rashad Jennings) ran directly into my DT (Suh), bounce off into a linebacker, bounce off that linebacker, and take the ball to the house. I've also watched my stud rookie CB with 97 speed get burned by 10 yards on a streak by a guy with 84 speed for a TD.

I don't mind a difficult game, but it's absolutely infuriating to watch stuff like this happen time and time again when I'm playing great. We've gone from psychic DBs in past games to complete cheese because the CPU feels a need to keep every game competitive. Not every game in the NFL is competitive though, sometimes teams get blown out. Overall, I think the gameplay is this game is leaps better than past years, but the older I get the more frustrated I become.

Re: All madden - all pro

I like all pro this year. Using a wide variety of plays and run the ball. People who complain that they can't get a challenge from the game likely use a handful of exploit plays and moan that the cpu can't stop them. It's up to the person playing to decide what experience they want, I for one like to get it to play like real football.

Good teams win most, sometimes bad teams surprise. In my cfm i am 8-2 with my Steelers year one.

8 teams are 7-3 or better. 11 teams are 6-4 or 5-5. 13 teams are below .500 with only one team at 1-9. Pretty decent spread.

I am confident that it's because I have roster control of all teams. Next year should be even more competitive, as I'll have an offseason and draft to work with for all teams.

No sliders can make up for poor roster decisions. Imo the way a user runs the team is the biggest difference maker.

I'm complaining and don't exploit or use cheap plays. Frankly, I don't consider myself to be very good at the game. I try my best to keep sim like stats in 9 minute quarters on all-pro. Tannehill threw for 3800 yards and 35 Tds for me last season. He might break 4k this season. My drafted RB just broke 1100 yards. Nobody on my defense has over 12 sacks, including Wake and Suh.

Just because you don't see a problem doesn't mean a problem isn't there. I couldn't count the number of times I shared texts with friends while playing this game about the ridiculous plays that happen.

Not saying there isn't an "issue"... But it's time to either accept the game for what it is or move on. I can't stand to read the same complaining posts the many months after release.

Fact:The game is the best madden has even been.
Fact 2:no matter what the same trolls will complain and say it's broken and demand ea patch a completely new game in because it's not the experience they want.

Let's tone down on the snarkiness please.

You're right. We get an overabundance of the threads you mentioned that are annoying but this hasn't been one of them. No reason to have the holier than though attitude here.

I agree with you on a gameplay perspective. This is absolutely the best Madden gameplay-wise that I've ever played. Some people just need to vent. Some people hope that their cries will be heard and hopefully fixed if not in this game then hopefully the next. Others just like to whine about everything that doesn't go their way.

I personally get frustrated when I put almost an hour of my day into 1 game of Madden and halfway through the game the CPU decides to go all wonky on me and do crazy stuff like make my defender run out of bounds at the start of a play leaving a WR wide open.

Unfortunately we live in a society where most people want everything to be perfect even though perfection is subjective. People will never be happy. Getting used to people always complaining now will make things easier because it'll probably only get worse haha
