September NPD numbers have been released, and 2K Sports looks to own the basketball market outright by outselling it's competitor by an outstanding 133:1.

So those figures don't account for digital downloads or retail sales on other continents.

Not to mention 2k is the only game of the two on PC, and the vast majority of PC purchases digitally...

What's even more apparent, the Lead Developer, Sean O'Brien, hasn't had a single tweet since the end of September, whereas he had been on twitter all the time before the game was released.

Sad how that's only retail numbers. The actual number added with digital releases and international sales has to be a lot higher than that. EA is at an all time low for basketball seeing this [emoji21]

is this really shocking to anyone? 2K obviously owns the basketball market and it's not changing anytime soon because Live basically fell 3 years behind and is still trying to catch up with an annual release schedule

now if Live actually took 2-3 years developing a single game... that would be interesting

to be fair NBA 2K16 came out on the 25th so that's only counting a couple of days for EA's Live game. Also Live is only on PS4 and X1 and not PS3 and Xbox 360 and NPD is including all those numbers.
