Re: MyTeam - Being fouled should give MT points
By design; anything going to the statboard positive to the team is rewarded. Turnovers are not rewarded and fouls, although positive to getting to the line, are also not rewarded. It's been like that for 3 years. I'm pretty sure it's not an oversight

Re: MyTeam - Being fouled should give MT points
Thanks for your response. This is the first year I've really delved deep into MT so I didn't notice it before. I think it's a bit unfair and makes earning some MT that much harder without cheesing (e.g. upping the tempo with fast break every possession). With 6-minutes quarter, my experience has been frustrating as I generally average less than 650 MT points (which doesn't unlock any stars even if you win when you get to the #15 or so team in domination). Any tips?By design; anything going to the statboard positive to the team is rewarded. Turnovers are not rewarded and fouls, although positive to getting to the line, are also not rewarded. Domination was a lot easier last year, but not because you could cheese the CPU. Post moves (5pts per made shot) are worth a lot when going for the MT point goal. The only thing worth more than a score from post move is a rare second chance point (6pts per make after off. rebound). Having someone like Lamarcus Aldridge, Al Jefferson, Tim Dumcan, or anyone good in the post, you can rack up points.
Another big thing is the percentages. In 2K15, I would try to get to the line only once a game for and only one attempted (and hopefully made three before patch 4) for the 100% bonus. That's not the case this year. They require you to take at least 5 threes to get the percentage bonus and at least (strangely) 10 free throw attempts. Definitely harder than last year, but doable none the less. Don't forget your all important rebound and assists tho and fast break points when you can get them too.
