Paid $0 dollars for VC so far and I got a pretty serviceable squad just by playing Domination and opening the occasional player pack. Even though Bronze packs have the lowest chance of pulling out good players, it's a great cheap way to beef up your card collection one crappy card at a time. Best player I got so far from it was DeMarcus Cousins who now comes off the bench for me. He's a low post offensive machine but sometimes, even against weaker defenders, he can miss post hook shots which bothers me. I try to get a lot of Domination games in. I replay a lot of them just for the MT points. It's easier than doing the challenges since the challenges have restrictions on lineups.

dont have a set lineup as I am stuck on Gauntlet for the moment but I have all Amethysts except Melo and AD. I have all meaningful Gold Centers and PG's. ROTY Vince, Kyrie, Wilkes. Most of the best silvers. ETC.

was determined not to spend any money this year since I spent a lot last year. I paid for the Jordan pre-order, which I reqret doing since he is sellable. I got the 75% off VC (30k for $2.50) and thats the only extras I spent.

Last year, greed got to me. I acquired a bunch of cards that I never even used. In the process paying for VC and selling players. Now, I only get the players I need/want and I dont sell anyone unless they are dupes.

YOU DO NOT have to spend money to have great players.
