Last Gunfighter, have you begun a ccm yet and if so, how is going with this set?

Hey man, sorry, been busy as heck. I did start a CFM with the Browns last weekend and got 3 games in. Went 3-0 but they were all very tight and low scoring, I could have easily lost any one of them and the Browns first few matchups aren't against anybody great, Jets, Titans and Raiders. McCown got hurt in the last game of the preseason so Manziel has been the starter, he's not great to say the least. I'm pretty happy with the way they're playing but have been reading a thread in the roster forum about editing the traits of a lot of players and am going to experiment with that I think. I just feel like we are really close but then something causes us to keep tweaking stuff. I am hoping the roster trait edits are going to provide a more consistent game, we'll see. First I have to find time to edit all the players.

What I need to know is if I want to start a a new cfm should I just delete all my files and stay away from the likeness update and just load the patch then enter the settings and sliders from page one??? I want to try your settings and sliders just want to make sure that when I start I have all the right steps in place. Also where is the most updated set???

Latest set is on the first page. Personally I deleted the game and all my files, reinstalled it and was only prompted for 1 update which I installed. I did install the likeness update but am not using the tuner. I set all sliders and then import them into my CFM, other settings are set when you start the CFM and auto subs are set once in the CFM. Hope that helps.

Haven't made any more progress, unfortunately being an adult has kept me from having time to play lately.

With the little time I have had I've been working on editing the rosters. I'm hoping to get that done soon and do some testing.

Thank you for the answer...I definitely understand about life. Between full time dad, job, school and coaching by the time I get a game in, it's 10pm...maybe I'll get a season in by let's say, March!

has anyone noticed that these sliders favor the user heavily. does anyone have any pointers on how to fix this? i only play coach mode and use the three they suggest. but the scores always heavily favor the user team. any ideas to help me out. this is my first year messing with the sliders but i have always played coach mode. i just like the old coach mode better where you didnt have to kick the ball and the qb would scramble on their own. they dont on this one they always look to pass even if they have forty yards of green in front of them

ya i did that and its allot more realistic. i ran one game on the all pro sliders and the team had almost six hundred passing yards a lil over two hundred rushing yards thats just too much and it was very similar results for what ever team i was user coaching

So you felt game was more of a challenge on all madden?

Did sliders still give an authentic game experience?

ya its more of a challenge on madden and yes it was an authentic game experience, and the qb will scramble when they need to on madden, which it never happened on all pro. the only thing i think on all madden the players run fast as hell and thats on both sides lol. but it something i can deal with

ya i am i have the settings and sliders exactly like these except for the all madden difficulty i run a 32 team franchise and play as the home team

Lol. I'm going to look into testing the set on AM. Never once tried it. I'll provide details on my experience.
