I think this mode actually will be fun but I already had huge bad luck the 1st day; jeez I got destroyed. I ended up picking Jrue Holiday, Pau, Harrison Barnes, Igoudala and Mozgov; figured I'd go with a budget ballers lineup I think I only had to pay 100 for Jrue and 100 for Pau and a. Holiday isn't going to play in tonight's game - wish I knew that hours ago -_- lol. and Pau and Mozgov basically did nothing in that Cavs-Bulls team....Oh and Curry literally is going to outscore my whole team he's already got 30+ points lmfao.

I know it's not going to be easy but I kind of thought 2K's first team was ridiculous; a little unfair honestly with THE MVP, an MVP candidate in Anthony Davis and then 3 all-star candidates. Kind of hoping it was just because there was only 3 games total today; would be nice if they balance out their selections during the next times to make it a little bit more fair.

I'll admit though it's partially my own fault for being cheap on the 1st day. I knew I should have ponied up the extra VC to get Drummond or Lebron but decided against it.

For those wondering that don't have the game; it's basically a fantasy basketball type mode where you draft 5 players to compete against 2K's hand-picked 5 man team. If your players perform better and you beat 2K's team you earn VC. You can't pick the players 2K picked.

You can still get some VC, if you win the "Last Chance" match on the court.
Check the mode again tomorrow before the first game of the day begins!

Out of curiosity what difficulty is the match on and how much VC can you earn from these? Is there any bench players or is it just my 5 vs 2K's 5 and there's no substitutions? I'm intrigued by this mode since it's exclusive to PS3/360. Great addition to 2K16!

One question I select 5 players in the draft, I asked if he was sure that if he wanted to play with that team and said yes, then I can not find how to play osea I can play tennis with that team to select Vs which has preset the machine they are the best players? I only listed assets where they exit rules and statistics but can not find how to play, if I can clarify this doubt?

You have to play before the end of the day's games? I entered the Battle 2k then ended the game Vs Atlanta Detroit.

Has anyone manage to do anything other than draft their team? I've drafted yesterday night, log back on today before today's games and nothing has happened.

I noticed that too; and someone on 2K Forums mentioned the same issue. The mode never updated and I wasn't able to play the "Last Chance" match on the court that Vlad brought up. Hopefully they can fix this.

Friends and update 2k battle but slow a lot still to this day marked the last day that nothing happened, well I told the team you select in the draft but had lost one last chance to win and should do on the court, I began to play and almost beat him to the machine but began to use its artificial intelligence in the hands of Curry and Davis, and today hize another selection and good morning to wait again to face the machine and search beat, but it's fun to play the 2k and also interesting battle would be very gratifying to win with a team that does not have to spend tomorrow seeketh to achieve vc.

You don't really play against anyone, it's essentially a Fantasy Basketball type of mode that like draftkings or fanduel but you try to pick better players than 2K's selected starting 5. Not a lot of gameplay there.

However I think you can play against their starting 5 in the "Last Chance" match, the next morning. It's vs the CPU I'd imagine. Would be cool if we can play the dev team though but I'm sure they don't have time for that.

If true if the players you choose in the draft lose, this is based on agreement as to make each of the players selected by the machine on the day of games a day, almost always win because the machine choose the best if this happens if you lose, you have the last chance to play with the machine on the court but is complicated the effectiveness of the machine is incredible never fails and is losing in the fourth quarter applies a huge defense to never win, as close as it gets was by 7 points but it's hard to win in this battle mode 2K that's a great workout.

Just to add on to other post above. You and the CPU "draft" 5 players from teams that are playing on that night in real life.

Next day when the game updates, whoever players got the best stats from each position "wins" and whoever total adds up the most wins, wins the "battle".


If you lose you can play a real game against the CPU with the players drafted. Unlimited stamina, no bench. In the end it's all about earning VC.
