After the success of the first HB Knockout, we are bringing it back for another Tournament! The expected start date is going to be Friday, Oct 30th.
The tourney will work the same as last time, each round of the event will be 2 rounds at the same course. To survive and move on to the next round, you have to finish in the top half of the field. Ties at the top half marker will move on. The same will be done for the Second round, 2 rounds and the top half survive. We will do this until we are down to the final 2 people who will play 1 round in the championship match, which will be streamed!
Each event, you will have 6 days to play your 2 rounds. (Fri to Thur) Courses will be announced at the start of each round. We will make sure that each event covers a weekend. If you do not play your rounds, you are out, no exceptions.
You must be signed up here in the HB forums to be able to participate in the event
Sign up in this thread with the platform you are playing on and I will add you to the sign up lists. There is going to be a separate Knockout Tournament for each platform with a grand prize winner on each platform as well.
Note: When you sign up, make sure you are listing your ID/GT that will be listed on the tournament leaderboards. If it is different than your forum name, I may not know who you are on the tourney leaderboard and that could lead to a DQ.
Important Note: Straight shooters will be DQ'd. You are not allowed to use anything to help you hit straight. This is anything like modded controllers, outside software, straight edges, rubber bands, etc. Also there is no chipping while on the greens unless your path to the hole is obstructed by something other than the green surface.
This time we are looking to secure prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. We are still working on 2nd and 3rd place but we have the 1st place prize all set. The champion on each platform will get the prize shown below. This is the basic idea of the prize, it may not necessary be that exact driver and we should be able to customize to your specs in terms of loft and stiffness.
