They usually put the new unis in as they were them in real life. More then likely it'll be whenever the clippers are about to wear them

Why do teams insist on adding black uniforms when it's not part of their regular color scheme? The Hornets are doing it this year as well. Teams across all sports do this and it bothers me.

Since these are packed into roster updates (at least in the past) we would have to restart MyCareer to get them right?

I get what youre saying, however in this case, the Clippers new color scheme does indeed include black this year.

I assume the Homestrong jerseys Miami are debuting tonight will soon be in 2k? I know they just had some alternates that were in a roster update but I REALLY like these here.

Yes, in myleague I came up against the Knicks once and they had them on. I think 2k has it randomized though. Another time I played them they didn't wear them, just regular black socks

I think you just put the high socks on a player and it's done randomly.

No.
In game modes such as MyLeague, teams will wear custom team socks on thurs-sun. On mon-wed, teams will wear their default socks.

Hoping for equipment freedom in 2k17
