    2K17 Accessories Wishlist

This is just a thread of new accessories that I'd like to be in the game next year.
    What I would like is.

-Be able to change sleeve, headband, and legs colors on our own Like NBA LIVE used to allow.
-Able to equip headband like come on 2K
    - Mask and goggles
    - Adidas Knee pads and arm Sleeve
-Be able to change sock colors. For example I noticed that when a team is wearing their Home jersey on the road they always wear black socks
-Able to equip that black tape that Harden and Whiteside

That's I got for now and anybody else has anything please share enjoy

Add knee pads like Kyle Korver wears. Nobody wears the ones in the game.

While we're on Chris Douglas-Roberts why not throw in a short shorts option as well

                    --Individual Accessories--

-Ability to add or remove headbands to current players (obviously)

-Fix disappearing sock glitch that occurs when equipping certain calf and leg sleeves

-Allow layering of accessories such as knee straps over knee sleeves like Michael Carter-Williams wears or an elbow pad over an arm sleeve like Dwight Powell wears.

-Option of socks going under or over a leg accessory (such as Jason Terry's socks going under his knee sleeves while Kyle Korver's and Robin Lopez's go over. Currently, only compression pants properly layer under socks.

-Add varying length of compression shorts/pants..
                    Shorts: typical compression shorts
Pants Short: short sleeves that come just below the knees like Kyle Lowry wears
Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors shoots the ball against the Miami Heat on November 8, 2015 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

Pants Medium: length of Andre Iguodala, slightly longer than what we classify as knee sleeves but while still showing space between crew socks and sleeves
Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors dribbles the ball against the Denver Nuggets during their NBA basketball game at ORACLE Arena on November 6, 2015 in Oakland, California.

Pants Long: length that most players wear, the current length of compression pants in game
Pants Full: length that runs down to ankle, how leg sleeves currently look in game but without the sock glitch

-Add varying length of knee sleeves. Same as compression pants but for the purpose of single leg assignment such as Terry Rozier or Alex Len wear
Terry Rozier of the Boston Celtics drives to the basket against Ryan Boatright of the Brooklyn Nets during the preseason game on October 19, 2015 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

Alex Len of the Phoenix Suns handles the ball against the Sacramento Kings during the game on November 4 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

-Knee pads should be short, medium and long. The short ones should not have the space in the back as they currently do.
                    Short:
Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers grabs a rebound over Ian Mahinmi of the Indiana Pacers during the first half at Quicken Loans Arena on November 8, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio.

                    Medium:
Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat handles the ball against the Toronto Raptors on November 8, 2015 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

                    Long:
                    http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/ne...hoto/495368726

-Socks are pretty good in length this year, but add two crew liner lengths, one slightly longer and one slightly shorter than the current length of crew liner socks.

                    --Accessory Colors--

I've talked about this alot, and I sincerely hope that the mockery the NBA has made of 2k's neat little thursday-sunday custom team Stance socks plan has brought attention to the overhaul needed in regards to equipment customization.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to edit everything that Mike Stauffer can in regards to accessory colors.
                    -team shoe colors
                    -headband colors
                    -team color 1
                    -team color 2
-default sock color (the solid colors)
                    -custom team sock (both styles)

Currently in edit player, you can only see default home and away jersey colors. The home/away system is completely obsolete. We need access to each individual jersey that each team wears, with home and away options for each.

Teams are constantly wearing away jerseys at home, and home whites on the road. With the current system, 2kStauff must change colors back and forth while we wait for the perfect combination to start our MyLeagues/MyGM's

Take the Cavs for example, currently in 2k as of 11/9, they have wine headbands and arm sleeves equipped for their home jerseys because of one game they wore them on the road against Philadelphia. However, in 2k, they will appear like this at home as well while in reality, they wear white accessories. There needs to be home and away options for each jersey.

A suggestion I made in another thread was to give us an "Equipment Manager" option in the team select screen where we could press a button for each jersey and decide what color we'd like headbands, team colors 1 and 2, socks (with a default or custom team color option as well), shoes and leg accessories (including compression pants) to be for that game for that jersey.

Specifically on socks, if you watch the NBA you'll notice that rarely do both teams wear custom team Stance socks, while some teams such as Miami, have yet to wear anything but black and white Stance socks all season thus far. Yet we are locked into the Monday through Wednesday= black and white default and Thursday through Sunday = custom team colors plan.

Another feature in regards to socks that I'd like to see, but not as important as everything else I've listed here, is the ability to create your own custom team colored socks. Similar to the jersey rebrand, but with socks. But it's important that our creations don't override the other team socks we have to choose from. Again, every jersey is unique.

In summary, my biggest point is this in regards to accessory colors. Teams choose when and what they want to wear each game. We should have this choice as well.

At the very least, considering all the customization freedom we have in MyLeague with regards to rebranding and relocation, we should have complete freedom in My League to assign colors however we want. It may not seem like a big deal to many, but to many others like us, being able to change team colors for each jersey is a big immersion factor specially when playing multiple years.

They really need to add tighter fitting Jersey I.E. The Heat jerseys
Also have the option of jersey size/fitting have the option of lose and baggy(Kobe) or Tight(LeBron).

Just give us a madden/ncaa football style selection screen before each game to change accessories and shoes jerseys etc. If it can be done of those games it can be done on here

I don't really see why it would be so difficult to let us choose the sock color the same way we choose the uniform. We've been allowed to do that in Madden and NCAA Football for a bunch of years already.

My point exactly NBA live used to allow to change just about everything before it became the crap that it is today

You nailed it on the head my brother. I really hope that 2K gives us that type of freedom and cutomization options for 2K17. It's so frustrating not having the ability to change team and sock colors to our liking and having to wait on Beds to implement it. Plus as Mikelopedia mentioned, having road accessory colors with a home jersey or vice versa based off of one game is frustrating, not to mention the whole debacle with the Stance socks. Teams like the Cavs have been sticking to the white/black socks but in 2K they still wear the colored Stance socks on certain days. 2K has been slowly moving in the right direction of customization freedom, so hopefully next year we will be given the freedom and control over these things moving forward.
