    Tips/Recommendations before starting my MyGM

Anything I should know before starting and it locks down the game mode?

    Some questions I have:

Is multiple team control worth it/as flexible and worth the time as it is in MLB the show for example?

Should I use VC primarily in MyGM as I play it more than My Career - or still save for My Career?

Are there year-to-year saves in 2K yet?

    Thanks in advance.

The coaching changes in off season are ridiculous.

          1. No multiple team control, only can in my League.

          2. GM upgrades are easily earned by playing a few seasons. If you wanna fly through it take a good team and just sim away.

          3. Nope.

I prefer not to sim ahead, rosters always get wacky and it becomes a less authentic experience IMO

Re: Tips/Recommendations before starting my MyGM

I too am about to start a new GM or League mode after my Career files (3rd year, 81 PF, on PC) got corrupted after an update =(

Most importantly, what would be the consensus best SALARY settings right now?

Was a big GM player b4 but only played Career since 2k14.
I haven't decided yet, GM or League but I'll probably go with myLeague since I don't want to deal with crap like ticket pricings, player babysitting etc. Also the many options of League and being in control of all teams sounds very nice.
I'll probably go with a young team and try to build up like I used to.
Thinking of going T'Wolves, Bucks or Magic.

BTW, are there any Interviews with media and "outside" stuff at all in myLeague mode? What "fluff" from GM mode are in League mode, if at all?

Thank you for any advice & info

First step, is to not start a MyGM, and start a MyLeague.

If you value realism, to your own standards, MyLeague is the way to go. Total freeddom, always.

While player convos and negotiations are in the real world of the NBA, I just feel 2ks system isn't as fleshed out as it should be, to make this part great. Cheesey jokes, repeated goals, just us not nessacary to get a fun and rewarding Franchise experience.

yeah, I tried all that stuff in GM mode, but it seemed like it'll get old and repetitive real soon.
Just started myLeague with the T'wolves (they seemed like a young fun team) with mostly default game settings. Hopefully the whole salary thing is better since the last update & patch .
