    Contract not Acpeted.

    in my cfm Derrick Johnson didn't accept the contract. after advancing the week, he wasn't listed for negotiation. still have 3 games left in the season, will i get the opportunity again, or is it lost forever now?

      If he did not accept the contract, he's testing free agency.

              You should be given the option to franchise him during the re-sign period of the offseason (the first week).

                  Offer Him More $ In The Off-Season I Had 2 Players Reject Contracts During the Season, and They Both Ended Up Re-Signing In The Off-Season. They Were 80+ overall.

                      same here. lots of guys that reject fair and then generous contracts all season long, then in the off season they all signed without issue. I guess its just to create drama or tempt you to trade them.

                          You will be able to resign him in the offseason, they usually accept but not always. I actually have a rule I enforce when I play, if they turn down my initial offer, I trade them or don't resign them. Creates a little more drama. I also only offer in season deals to superstar level players. Usually about 1 or 2 will accept.
