That specifically made the game "non-sim" for me which led me to just play it like a video game and not model everything after nba basketball. Top rated guards and ball handlers lose the ball because a player runs up against me or because I'm in the paint and people are spamming me for a turnover. These are fouls, an animation where they are pushing you should ensue, not the ball being kicked (and not calling kicked ball) or just squirting out for a turnover and change of momentum. 2K has felt scripted for some now.
