Thanks Sundown. And I care, but I don't care to an extent. I play strictly online and I got abuse by this play over the first month. And guys ran this play 30xs a game. So not seeing it for awhile is GREAT for me. Over the last few weeks I truly found a fix to stop it and got steals 75% of the time. As u mentioned, the defensive A.I. was horrendous, so I had to manually hold them back to stay in position to defend the roll. And when timed right, they got the steal.
The way 2k addressed this in the patch I do not agree with. My concern with video games devs in general is instead of a true fix, they fix it in a unnatural manner that creates another problem. Like how fixing the zig zag cheese effected realistic basic shots off the dribble.
But far as pick n roll, when the user calls a play, the game should reflect that. Not stall the roll or not roll at all like the player is dumb and forgot his responsibility. I think 2k should have addressed this by improving the defensive A.I. and soft hedge logic.
