Fact is slow it down is not always an accurate portrayal of NBA basketball. Most teams don't play "slow" these days due to smaller lineups. Furthermore backing down once you pass the half way line is a sure way to drain your own shot clock and have you rushing to create a scoring opportunity.
Its not even about using turbo, its trying to get a good shot, after botch pick and rolls, slow CPU teammates taking their sweet time to get to their spots, or come off screens. The earlier you get into your offense this year the better off you are. Otherwise you will end up with a bad shot.
Even then, slowing it down doesn't change the fact that the slight bump turnover is ridiculous
