    4) do the moves have more impact/sound when being hit??

    5) is the ref more involved in the fight?

it would be greatly appreciated if u could answers questions
    1) So this is a bit of a long answer. I liked the UFC 3 ground game alot. I liked that offline if you wanted to take a guy like Fitch and just lay and pray, you could. I get the vibe that online players hated that but I loved it.

Now when it comes to UFC 2, its a little early for me to comment. One, GameplayDev is still tweaking and making changes to the ground game. Two, I was still mastering the controls when I played it (We really only played the game for maybe 4-5 hours (excluding the 1 1/2 we played KO mode). Three, I wasnt trying to lay and pray on anyone. I was focusing on advancing position and attempting KOs.

    2) I believe they are in but they are rare.

    3) The sway system is similar to Fight Night Champion and I loved it in FNC so I love it in UFC 2. They are still tweaking somethings though based on our feedback.

    4) Yes. Strikes are significantly stronger and the dev team is still making tweaks to that system.

5.) Not from what I remember.

I am kind of excited about event mode...I guess I will wait and see how this game actually pans out before spending $60....Im still on the fence and the lack of a season/GM mode when a lot of people have been asking for it for years is kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Im not a fan of excuses, they want us to buy their game, they ask us what we want, we tell them. Find a way to make it happen, start building it, at least tell us we have plans to incorporate it within the next 2 games, I can accept honesty. Eh, I'll stop "whining" about it now. Hopefully it still plays out to be a great game and I can find a reason to spend the $60 on it. So far Im just not sold.
Not a waste at all. Those improvements are in UFC 2 and made UFC 1 immensely more playable.

Its not an excuse. Its just reality. Universe Mode wasnt even one of the most demanded features. Ultimate Team and Event Mode were. I've honestly never seen Universe Mode mentioned anywhere else than here (maybe Reddit) and even here its been sporadic.

I completely understand that what they announced may not be enough to egt you to buy the game and I completely respect that. I'm just saying its not as easy as just deciding to "make it happen".

Only one combat sports game has ever had a Universe mode. ****, they are 6 years in and its still a buggy *** mode.

Speaking of refs, are there more than the two in the game? And are they able to be selected like previous UFC games?

Uh oh. Lol. I pretty much abandoned using it in UFC because it was so sluggish. I only used it when I wanted some style points. Most guys online only did the **** where they leaned back when they were rocked because it was impossible to hit them with a head shot. It'll be nice to utilize some head movement like in Fight Night.

                1. Not familiar with FN sway system, but I used the sways quite effectively to make a guy miss and counter. There are a few guys who actually do extra dmg. That way. A more responsive system wher strikes can flow better from it will be much appreciated if that's what the FN system is.

2 Universe mode ...yes only one game has done it. Well not really. We keep sayin universe mode. But what most people want is more like season mode that is in every successful sports franchise. Universe mode in wwe has a bunch of things that we don't need like rivalry, partnerships, branding etc. for season mode all you need is to take career mode and allow us to use multiple fighters and set the fight cards. done. You can even get rid of the training and make all fighters progress on auto. It would be an acceptable start point. Or just make championships and rankings hold within the internal roster impacted by event mode results.

I think they don't need to set the bar super high. Now the longer we wait the bar gets higher.

Now..,with that said. Making fighter specific AI tendencies will be super important to make this game. If I were them I would Only focus on those two things next rev cycle.

The THQ UFC games were some of my favorite sports games each year, I sunk hundreds of hours into them. I was excited when EA took over development because as much as I loved Undisputed it needed a new direction as it was getting stale. I wanted to love the EA version so badly and gave it many chances but in the end the control system was just too much. All the changes in the world won't matter if they still have the overly complex control system and the Simon like submission system. I shouldn't have to press 23 different button combinations to execute different kicks.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but as I recall the striking control scheme for the THQ games was very similar to the EA game. The biggest difference I can think of is that you don't need to hold a modified for a head kick. The striking control scheme is actually about as simple as I think you could make it while still letting the player control what they do.

You are right the control scheme was very close to THQ's except for the multiple strike modifiers. I'll say one thing about striking but I cant go into details. There have been some changes and for the most part I like the changes.

Are there standing elbow strikes like Holly Holm was doing to Ronda Rousey ? I don't think ever been in a MMA game.

There are definitely elbow strikes. I can't name any fighters with them off the top of my head but they're not really that rare. I think they're usually thrown by being close and using the "strong" modified without pressing forward or back.

I am talking about the style that Holly Holm was specifically throwing. All the other standing elbow strikes were either a spinning backwards elbow strike that Jon Jones had in the last game or an elbow strike in the clinch.

I want the kind Holly Hohm threw, where as you aren't close or in a clinch. You just throwing elbow strikes like punches. That is what I am wanting and been wanting ever since Jon Jones was doing it to Rashaad Evans years ago.
