Introduction: Hi OS! I've been a little inactive lately but no fear i have been working to bring greatness back to the 2K series! Thanks to Vlad and Leftos, they have made our jobs easier in the past but now it's all manual editing so I will be very inactive at times. If you need to contact me look at the last section (contact).

Draft Class: so far it's about 90% done with over 60 prospects.

Rating System: Ratings for prospects are completely based on my skill & age system. This is a new rating system so you will see higher overalls and potential this year around, but It's for the better... EXAMPLE: Ben Simmons overall is currently at 77 vs. Demetrius Jackson who is 69. Demetrius Jackson is by far the best player in terms of skill and athleticism but when you throw his age into the mix, his overall will lower. Why do this? Well every year a player stays their draft stock will lower due to their age and the addition to young guys entering the NCAA. IE: The Harrison Twins were lottery projected in their freshman year. Draft stock will only rise for those who have outstanding negatives like Tyler Ulis with his height. Height and athleticism will also take effect of the overall of the players and potential, like Isaiah Briscoe. Briscoe is often founded out of shape at times on the court and he'll hardly be found in the weight room over the off season.

What's Not Finished?: Currently it's playable which is why I'm releasing it so that you guys can give me feedback and that'll help prefect this draft class which will lead to my 2K17 Roster which will be released on June 30th 2016.
Things I Know: 10-15 players need signature free throws. 3-5 players need more accurate shots. 40-50 players need signature shoes. 5-10 players need grease updates IE: Cheick Diallo

    Did You Use Anyone's Work?:

No! I have over 100 CAPS on my list and im currently perfecting the ones that i did not put in yet like Perry Ellis and Bryce Johnson.

PS4 Version: ETP! He's awesome. Not an exact copy of mine, but no one puts more time into their work than me and ETP!

Thanks for the feedback. The answer to your question:

He's actually far from #3. He has a decent potential but he's actually rated way lower than he should. 2k will rate him 74-75 come 2k16. I rated him 72 and there's a reasonable explanation for that.

He's low due to his lack of height and length and also his age. He will provide maybe 4 years of prime play to an nba team due to his age.

What makes his potential pretty good and why he is one of the best in this draft is because of his skill level and nba ready body. Don't follow draftexpress or bleacher report because they account for what the nba draft will look like. I felt the same way about KJ McDaniels before he was drafted and he had a very impressive year for a 2nd rounder.

Remember: Draymond Green, Rondo, Tony Parker, DeAndre Jordan and much more are guys who were drafted very late. All of those guys have been in contention and have made NBA Season Awards like All Team Offense and Defense.

I don't look to mimic what other people are saying about these players. I look at their skill, IQ, flaws, body/athleticism and their mindset. Demetrius Jackson has the mindset of a great role player and maybe 1-2 years of a solid starting position, but he does not nearly pass for assists enough and he's too short.

But also remember steph curry first year he did average poorly in assists.

Check out the most recently updated version and I'd like to hear more feedback. Thanks!

Are you doing other draft classes besides 2016 (2017, 2018)?
Yours seem pretty good, but ObesusDominus does a good job as well and I think he is working on the 18 class now.

              - PS, I'm going to start my MyLeague this weekend. Do you have up to date rosters or know who's would be best to use (or just use 2Ks)? Thanx.

Thanks, I'm not here to compete I've always done my own work and whether or not anyone likes it i could care less because I do, but as for working on 17 and 18 draft classes: I've started a bit but again you have to remember there are 100 open slots in a draft class which means making a 100 prospects which is 300 for the next 3 classes and 2k only gives us 150 CAP slots so i have to have two gamertags for that but again you'll see those two extra draft classes in june when i release my 2k17 roster which will by far top the last 3 years I've been doing this.

Also i haven't been able to keep up with roster editing. I don't do roster editing till the end of the season because if lebron would start to wear a headband, derrick rose wears a mask or a D League player gets signed then we cannot manually do any of that, we'd have to redo the roster after 2k adds those in... my suggestion is to do your own roster edits before you start your league like i do so that it fits how you feel every player is... the main edits you want to make are: (lowering Okafor defensive stats and his shot tendency, raise steph curry to 96 overall with 98 potential, raise klay Thompson to 86 overall with 90 potential, raise Draymond green tendancy to pass and his passing vision along with defensive rebounds, raise garry harris potential, drop D'Angelo Russell to a 74 overall with lower shooting ability, lower Mudiay shooting ability and overall to 72-74 but keeping him the highest rated pg on the team.... those edits will 1. Make the warriors more likely to have long winning streak, fix issues with Russell scoring 20 ppg as a rookie pulling a 50-40-90. Mudiay can't shoot as good as 2k makes him and it will also allow a more build up in those 2 guys... also raising seth curry potential to a 74-75.... other than that it's more of what you see wrong with 2k's rating system.

Thanx for the advice. I'll try to do those edits you mentioned (BTW, 2K just put out another roster update: http://2kmtcentral.com/16/players/de...#comment-49133). Do I need to edit any tendencies/touches (or coach settings) before starting?

                  - I have another question that you might be able to help with. I'm going to start my MyLeague this weekend and I was wondering about what it would be best to put the Salaries/Cap Increases and stuff at (I do a Fantasy Draft)? What is best so increases and teams can resign their players (Durant, Lebron, ect, stay with the teams they're on)? But I don't want teams to have so much space they can sign every FA.

                  Thanx again for the help.

You have to put teams signing resign aggression at 95 and that'll fix most of the things like Westbrook or LeBron leaving and it will also fix issues where teams will drop or reserves that they're stashing for trades like the Celtics with Gerald Wallace. Putting the generated draft classes on 0 will also help with teams getting rid of top players. Also another good edit would be putting injury severity at 100 because that will make it so players who have horrid injuries will not recover 100% i.e: Shaun Livingston, Anthony Bennett, Derrick Rose, Greg Oden etc...

As for 2k's edits, they don't modify much, maybe they've added in a few players but again i don't do roster edits if we the editors don't have our mod tools we had on last gen. Hopefully 2k will do local saves and Xbox one will add a file manager.

Are the ratings really high? Most draft classes are filled with 80's & 70's well through the 2nd round

Not very high, but highly accurate. Now 80's. The Lottery will range from 13-78 Overalls. And then the next 6-11 players will be rated 70-72 in which they will most likely not receive much playing time their rookie year, but remember that there are slips so i have seen where a 72 overall was drafted pick 38 with many players lower than him being picked. I Feel the ratings are pretty solid for a association with CPU Generated classes tuned to 0. and on MYGM players will integrate into rosters similar to how 2K integrates them 1-4 years in.

~EDIT: I just Dropped Simmons from a 78 to a 77. REASONS: Defensive struggles when guarding elite athletes over the past 4 games. Inability to defend in the post over the past 6 games. Lwere rate of getting to the foul line in the past 3 games (Could be due to defensive foul troubles. will see FTAPG rise once he starts to actively move his feet on defense. Currently he only uses his arms and strength to defend the post fouling nearly every time due to not moving his feet, and on the perimeter he only uses his arms.)

Not sure about that one. i turn them all the way up and i will see 2/10 LebC.ron staying with the cavs while durant and westbrook will always stay with OKC.
