Hi A&S, just started a Yankee franchise with sliders exactly with what you have suggested. I simplify my game quite a bit - "x" to hit (auto baserunning) and "x" to pitch (auto defense and throwing, let catcher call the game, etc). This isn't really a slider question I guess, but I just finished sweeping the Jays, 1-0, 9-0 (4 homers) and 6-0 (2 homers), beating Price, Beurhle and Dickey. I'm 51 years old and don't consider myself a great player, so I think moving higher than AllStar level is not the answer. I know this is a very small sample and yes, teams struggle at times in real life as well, but holding a lineup of Revere, Travis, Tulo, Encarnation, Donaldson, Bautista, Colabello, Navarro (CPI plays him ahead of Martin), and Pillar to 0 runs for 27 innings raised a bit of a concern. I'm not blaming the sliders as I think they are perfect, just wanting to know your thoughts on my outcomes so far. Thanks and thanks again for your sliders.

This was a month ago but maybe you'll still see this. I have this happen a lot, I'm always considering the thought of moving up a difficulty level in pitching after a series like this and then my ace Chris Sale gives up 5 runs in 3 innings to a weak team including 2 home runs to a hitter like Eugenio Suarez. Then I think I'm okay until the next series and it happens again. Stick with it and see what your team ERA is looking like after a few more series.
