In yesterdays livestream ld2k said we want rec back because more rep . BRo ... I don't care about rep . I'm already l1 and if you guys play alot you guys will get l1 fast !

i dont want rec back because we get more rep .. I want it back because it was fun to see other guys 5 vs 5 " sim " playing and to get a squad togehter. Bring rec back without rep and im sure many guys will still play that!

ITS TIME TO OPEN THE DOORS AT THE PARKS :/

....dude. Let it go. Pro Am is the same thing. You don't get to wander around and watch, but that's why the mode was laggy last year
It's matchmaking this year to help with the choppiness, the lag, and the wait times. And watch what "Sim" games. The Rec was cheeser than the park last year

I'm personally one of the guys who want rec back, but only if it offered rep lol. If it came back without rep then there would be no reason, since Pro am is exactly that..
Not to say anything is wrong with Pro am considering it's the only mode I play right now.. Since park got so boring.

Basically FIX Pro-Am as Walk-On (the mode most people play for quick games).

Make the door take you to Pro-Am, make it so you can travel with a squad you met at the park.

Pro-Am as Walk-On is SO CLOSE TO BEING AWESOME ... just fix it with common sense!

It is not the same thing. Not as many people play ProAm because there is not as much incentive as there was for rec. You can't setup games against other decent teams and even when you search at the same time you get locked into a game with 3 crappy players and 2 CPU's who are inevitably going to quit before half time, not only wasting your time but ****ing up your stats as well.

You can't even see who you are going to verse until you are locked into a game. You should at least give the option for people to back out before being locked in. I don't know why they thought this would be a good idea.

Removing rep from 5vs5, 5 minute quarter games is easily the worst change they've made for 2k16. I can only hope they add rep to ProAm walk on in the next patch and allow you to join walk on as a squad.

You know what's funny: I've had good solid basketball games on pro am. I haven't seen half the cheese that rec had . It's almost like the rep brought all the cheeseballs to the mode.

Did you play 2k13. Or 14? Neither of those games had rep. So what was your incentive to do anything in those games?

Keep Pro-Am separate. One other thing: You either get rankings or you get lobbies, my dude. You can't get both.

If you let 2 teams set up a game vs each other, you can't have rankings. They will just farm point totals, wins, ect just like the chumps on park leaderboards. And your rankings will mean nothing

You're not seeing cheese because it's HOF/Superstar Simulation. Something everybody wanted last year in the Rec.

Listen, I'm glad you're playing it. I'm glad you're enjoying it, at least somebody is. But there are a large majority of us out there that are not playing it. Simply because it doesn't have that "addictive" factor that rep brings. I played over 1000 hours in NBA 2K15, and most of those hours were playing in The Rec.

We don't want The Rec because you earn more rep in it. We want it because we want to be able to play 5v5 simulation basketball with ours friends while earning rep in the process. You can only play so many MyPark games before it gets stale. And it has, but the only reason people keep playing it is because rep. You can't say that Pro-Am.

I play for fun as well but I know a bunch of people who barely play ProAM but would play it tons more if rep was involved. You've got something to work towards and build to if rep is involved. That's why more people play park. Might be surprising to you but for a lot of people there is more to a game then just playing for fun, people also play for the competition.

I've played 2k since 2k11 and to be honest, I played crew mode and then didn't play online with MyPlayer until 2k15 when they brought back 5vs5 and I thought it ended up being better then crew mode. I barely played 2k14 and 2k13 I mostly played MyTEAM.

The leaderboards are broken for 2k16 anyway. Only one players name gets acknowledged in the team leaderboards and the player leaderboards are broken because you get teams going in with 3 players and oversized 7'3 Centers grabbing 20+ rebounds over smaller guard players. The Alltime Leaderboards are overinflated with centers who've played less then 5 games.

With the leaderboards broken as they are, there is no reason not to put rep in. It's not going to do any harm because you can't cheese in ProAM and it'll increase the competition.

I agree with jhawk. MyPark is only tolerable for so long. It's starting to get stale already and it's only December. Even with the house rules implementation (which I find wack) we still need the JRC back. The best runs in 2k15 were in the JRC. This year it will be a completely different experience as there is no patch 4 to make everybody look like a God. I think games will be better and the competition will be solid as always. 2k need to make this happen.
