Which Madden has the best franchise mode on the PS3?

I've always been a big fan of franchise mode in madden. I always remember playing season after season of madden 05 for the GameCube and madden 07 for the wii. I plan on doing the same with a madden on the PS3. I was wondering which franchise mode is the deepest and best for the PS3? I've heard some good things about madden 12s franchise mode.

Madden 12 plus NCAA rosters. Franchise is better but gameplay is a lot worse.

Worse gameplay than ncaa 12 or worse than more current maddens for the PS3?

Worse than current gen consoles (One and PS4), about the same for all versions of PS3.

Random question. Can you download the patches to older games such as madden 12 still?

Should be. I downloaded a skyrim patch last week and that came out in 2011.

I was playing '12 up until a few months ago when I bought a new system but the servers were amazingly still up for the game and you could download the last roster update and also in NCAA you could download a named roster.

That's a roster for NCAA that someone enters the players names in since the college games only released with numbers.It saves a lot of time and can easily be downloaded in game.
