Shooting Percentage Change?
I can't be the only one that's noticed. Threes are going in way too much, I'm seeing back to back 3s made right in people's faces, this is ridiculous the percentages were perfect the way they were, why on earth would they do this? I'm having horrible flashbacks of 2K15 already. This is for MyPark and Pro-Am by the wayTags: None -
Re: Shooting Percentage Change?
Let it be man, scores are no where close to where they were in JRC for 2k15

Re: Shooting Percentage Change?
It's noticeable but it's nowhere near 2K15. Like Hanz says, most teams are averaging less than 60 PPG. JRC routinely had scores of 100+ and individual players dropping 50+ points in one game. It just seems that way after the tweak. Whenever I have a couple of contested shots land on me, I either check their FG% or monitor them for the rest of the game. Those shots do not fall consistently. Usually when I check, that very shooter may be only shoot 30-40%. The shooter may become embolden by those lucky shots and continue to let it fly at will. That's when you'll see those percentages take a dive.I can't be the only one that's noticed. It's pretty realistic to me. I hope 2K doesn't change it too much in the next patch.Comment

Re: Shooting Percentage Change?
Don't you think 30-40% is a bit too high for contested shots? I know it won't ever get 2K15 bad, but I feel like they had a perfect balance struck right after patch #3. I'm a defensive guard and now at times I feel like my good defense isn't rewarded because some guy can shoot a jumper in my eyeball with some type of consistency. It's noticeable but it's nowhere near 2K15. Consider the low team averages for points per quarter and points per game in Pro Am: I feel the contested shots falling is fine.Don't you think 30-40% is a bit too high for contested shots? We take those away and you trim even more fat to the point the game loses too much offensive juice.
I have plenty of games in Pro AM where we have quarters where neither team scores more than 15-17 points in a quarter - you are hard pressed to score 20+ per quarter.
What's point of griping about 1 player going off on some lucky dice rolls when rest of his team is still struggling to go 50/50?
I hope we can put these apprehensions in proper perspective and not simply magnify one man's gains while ignore the sum of the parts that make up the whole scoring summary.
I myself have games where I'm red hot but rest of my team is struggling or its another teammate red hot and the rest of us is struggling or playing mediocre. In these same games we as a team are lucky to end the game at 50% or better and this is typically what most games are like in Pro Am.
This game in Pro AM is no where close to the likeness of 2k15 JRC. In JRC you had multiple dudes who could chew you up shooting 75% or better and finishing with 30pts a piece. These days a hot player may still struggle to be just over 50% shooting at the end of the game.
