After seeing that 2k is actually going to release these cheese diamond cards, for how many of you is this the final nail in the coffin for this mod? It was already criticized for shallow gameplay, bad pack odds and bad cards that were release without badges, unrealistic ratings and overall a poor, dull choice of cards.

But i belive people are having enough. I did not spend any money on VC and truth be told, there is so little chance of you getting these overpowered diamond cards unless you pay up (especially on PC where a lot of people cannot afford even amethyst players) so does this mean people who spend (alot) of money on VC will have much better teams than us?

I think 2k needs a final warning that this is not the way to go. This mod has so much potential and yet they are screwing it up and using it as a cash grab for minimal effort. If something does not change, this mod will only get worse and worse.

I've spent probably $150 on VC this year and more in the past, I can guarantee they won't get another penny from me. So, yes, from their perspective I have quit because they've lost a customer. But I won't completely quit playing this year since I paid for the game and for what I have. Now though I really don't care about it, I'll just mess around, they've made it a joke. They gambled on putting out ridiculous cards thinking it will make them more money, it might this month but in the long run it won't because it's the complete opposite of what most of us want.

I am not. Next year, I will not buy it unless I hear they have made significant changes and stuck to them. I have been saving RTTP and Historic Dom, and I havent done any challenges really. I paid my money for this game and I am gonna play it. Its messed up here we are grinding for Diamond Stockton, Hakeem, and MJ and they put this mess in packs.

I am going to make life for cheesers an absolute living hell. They'd better get every Diamond they can. By the time I am done with some of them, they will be begging for Diamond Marquis Teagues!

I'm with you ^ I'm going to continue to play this year because I like the collecting and the historical (even though almost all of them are messed up) and I'm gonna build realistic and fun teams.

Then I'm going to go online and beast and feast on these noob cheesers with stupid all diamond 96+ lineups, show them how to ball for real.

I quit around a month ago due to the way they handle packs and the lack of content that interests me. Pack wise i do not want a amethyst card every pack but if almost every other company guarantees certain cards, im sure even they do with their online game i dont see why they cannot do it. those dynamic packs put me over the edge.

Also last year i just had more fun with the game. I could put in silvers and bronze players and have a good time. this year the games are much more sweaty offline. even with all golds some teams took me to the limit. some beat me.

Also content wise i am a offline mostly player and feel like the challenges only address players of a certain skill level. where i prefer the way madden handled it by having many challenges at different skill levels. Live even has that to a degree. The online modes perform nicely but not really my cup of tea.

I beat RTTP weeks ago so I had no plans on playing online anyway. Gonna focus on completing Domination now.

god that pissed me off too. I felt like at that point they were actually trying to rip people off. there is absolutely no reason to have Current cards in those packs, much less give them higher chance to be pulled. I bought two boxes on two different weeks and 70% of the cards were Current, mostly low rated garbage. Say you want to put some current cards in there....then let the odds give out high rated current cards, like gold cards. The way they do stuff is just insulting man.

I quit about 1 month ago after I won RTTP. I was raging enough as 90% of my opponents were passing mid-court and run to the basket.

I am happy I did that before this crazy stuff is going on

I only play offline and don't spend any money. You could say I never started it. I'm glad I didn't, seeing what they are doing now to this mode.

I was playing it here and there and stopped at the Raptors then focused on RTTP.

Most of my cards came from the auction house/My Player connections.

The dynamic packs is the thing that annoys me the most. Most of the recently added diamond players isn't something I'm really happy about but whatever. I'll basically never see them.


The dynamic packs should have one of them in each pack. It is(insert bad word here) ridiculous to have it the way they currently have it. I guess it slows your collection building down a lot though...and trying to buy any dynamic rating card with MT is a lot higher than most of them should be.
