I play 6 minute quarters and I have decently realistic stats. The games take 45-60 minutes. I run an on the ball offense, so no huddles unless the clock is stopped. Depending on how long my drives take, I average anywhere from 65-90 plays in a game offensively. My stats are competitive with the rest of the NCAA to the point where they're realistic. I wind up usually top 10 in passing and 50-75th in rushing.

I tried 7 minute quarters and I was just racking up ridiculous numbers with 100+ offensive plays. If I ran a standard offense and huddled every play, I would increase quarter length.

It does suck when I play a running team that huddles up though...any reasonable drive will take up half the quarter or more.
