Everything else is blacked out or says limited. The game doesn't save your my player creation that you make in the beginning of the game and forces you to remake him everytime you boot up the game... it doesn't save your sliders... it doesn't save your career or dynasty/franchise. I tried to enjoy it for what it was but I wasn't ALLOWED to. I let all that slide until it didn't even let me save something you've been able to save in every past game (season)! That was a deal breaker. The game is not perfect as some say. There is extreme buyer beware with this game and I bought it not knowing this because NO ONE mentions these flaws! No one said that online is pretty much required. Without online the game is just a demo and only about %25 of a game.
I'm strictly an offline gamer and I have been having a ball this year. MyLeague works fine for me, even then the 2K servers are down. If you don't have any high speed internet then you can just enjoy the game for what it is out of the box which is awesome. Some people might actually prefer it that way, again. I have been playing MyCareer (just for the college basketball part) and I have online and offline saves with the different schools because I started a few of them when the servers were down. I didn't have to recreate anything. Just pick up where I left off...

this entire thread makes me want to vomit. 2K is NOT the best sports game in the last decade. it's riddled with bugs. it's online game-play is always lagged and exploited. they fail to update their rosters with any regularity. i mean i could literally go on and on. and thats not even touching gameplay yet.

2K16 is amazing. If Pro-Am was setup correctly and a other few things, it would probably be my GOAT. But I'll have it as the 2nd best 2K in my book. Easily passed 2K15. Keep improving 2K.

I haven't seen upcoming games advertised at all in 2k16.

Re: NBA 2K16 Is the King, Has Only Gotten Better

After tinkering with sliders after this last patch, I feel I have the game feel back close to what it was before this last patch. Also Im wondering if there wasnt some under the hood work done by 2k since tha last patch drop, but the game is back to being enjoyable for me.

Im still having timeout issues where the AI dont get his timeout added back after halftime, and once in a while I actually lose my 20 sec timeout as well and then dont get a timeout added back at hafltime, but that dont happen every time like it does for the AI, the AI gets screwed every game on the timeout not being added back to them at half. Also still havent seen my team switch up to zone ever with auto playcalling, nor can I say Ive seen the computer team ever go to a zone. Not sure why this is happening to me, but other dont seem to have this issue, and its been a issue for me with the timeout since the 2nd patch, work fine in day1 patch, except for the zone D, which I have not seen ever in 16. Obviously not what I consider gamebreaking but its frustrating to not see any zone and have the timeout issue.

Not going to go on a long complaint, but 2k16 is incredibly disappointing to me. Priorities for 2k are not in line with what I want in a basketball game. Game feels stale and boring, playing with the same feel for the last 6 years.

MLB The Show 15 is GOTY in my opinion.

I usually get a game of 2k16 in while I'm sipping on some coffee before I leave for work in the morning...just a game that keeps me engaged and wanting to play often...definitely a great job this year....

I gotta say game is interesting and is definitely something to build on, 2K IMO gone wrong when they introduced so many game modes besides exibition game (quick play) and online. When you trying to make quality game there is only so much modes you can aim to polish for the game to look flawless as possible. In future it would be nice to see revamped physics engine not only ball related but also movement related, dunks etc..

Yeah this game is pretty much all I play on PS4 and I have every major game also I don't even play Basketball in real life Baseball since age of six but I have lost sleep and ditched work for sure with this game.

But with that said one thing that needs improving is the crowd when it was hyped in the trailers by 2k I was excited but was really let down its not much different than previous versions been playing since 2k14 and sometimes the crowd sound just stops completely.

But on the other side I am still rewinding plays since 2k14 trying to convince myself that what I saw just happened in a video game and looks so realistic even the calf muscle shading when flexing on shots. Too many details to name. This helps some what forget about the crowd and no body types for created players. Even if we got large, medium or small something or I want my body type to look like Darren Collison select boom done!

Either way when they get year 2 year saves its over for the other franchises!

I have to disagree, and comparing NBA 2k16 to NFL 2k5 is a straight disrespect to NFL 2k5 let bet serious. NFL 2k5 was another level when it first came out and 2k16 isnt even close to that level. The nonsense AI I see on 2k16 with the worst transition defense and pick n roll defense I ever saw in any NBA 2k game. NBA 2k13 had superior transition and pick n roll defense compare to 2k16 especially in MYCareer. Don't get me wrong I will praise 2k16 with the blocks and rebound probably the best of all time. But there is too much flaws in this game. This is the first 2k game that literally just frustrate me with such bad AI teammates. AI teammates who consistently leaving people open in MYcareer, and get lost in pick n roll defense. Leaving 3 point shooters open consistently because they wont stop over helping.
